Question For Nursing Students (BSN)

For those who got into the nursing program, how many volunteer hours did you complete and do they have to be healthcare related?

Also, I'm seeing something called D1 Sequence in the course requirements, can somebody explain what it is?

TIA

I Hate My Life

So roughly 6 months ago, I was rejected by Georgia Tech.. Really broke my heart.

(For context, I graduated from a high school in Georgia, but I'm technically an out-of-state student, GT evaluates all Georgia high schoolers in the first round of EA.)

So some relatives came over, and we were discussing my future (aka college). My mom said out of nowhere that my SAT score was too low, that I bombed the math section with only a 760, because "everyone else" was getting full marks, and if I did, I wouldn't have to go to a "trashy school“ (I'm honestly kinda looking forward to it, since I personally don't think it's as bad as she makes it out to be.)

I was shocked, and sad at the same time. GT's acceptance rate is low enough (under 10%) for out-of-state students. I don't think that 40 points extra on my SAT is going to chance the outcome of this. And even more, she wants me to go into nursing, which GT doesn't even offer. So what was the whole point of humiliating me in front of all those people??

My Sister Is Refusing To Give Me Back the Necklace That I Was Gifted

My aunt and cousin dropped by today and gave me a late b-day present. It was a really pretty necklace (Not super expensive or anything, just pretty)

My sister (8yrs old) fell in love with it at first sight. I put it on my desk and she took it while I was in the bathroom. When I tried to get it back (after my aunt and cousin left), she just started bawling. For the sake of my ears (and everyone else's), I decided to let the matter go.

It's been a full 12 hours, and when I thought that she was ready to give it back, she just started bawling again, and my dad said that I was "selfish" for making her cry and I should just let her have it.

RIP. Necklace, it was nice knowing you.

Edit: I can't take it back because I have absolutely no idea where she hid it😞

Edit 2: My sister can cry EXTREMELY LOUD. So my parents will do ANYTHING for a peace of mind.

Edit 3: I'm off to college in three months...counting the days off on my calendar
