My fibroids are relatively small, up to 2.6cm but have submucosal component. Then there is the adenomyosis and polyp part. I've been bleeding for months, not too heavily thanks to my bc, but every single day. I have terrible sharp cramps weekly and I'm tired all the time. I'm 44 and also in peri so have many other symptoms as well. I'm just done with all this. Am I crazy to consider hysterectomy?

I've just received my report: ultrasound findings include an enlarged heterogeneous uterus consistent with adenomyosis, multiple uterine fibroids, one with a submucosal component, and a possible 7 mm endometrial polyp.

Anyone with similar situation? What treatment or procedure did you have or planning to have?

My doctor's appointment is tomorrow. Sonohysterography and obgyn appt will follow.

I've been taking Zoloft since January. While the first weeks were a bit expectedly uncomfortable, I think by April/May I've reached the full benefits, the universal chill I so badly needed.

I used to get so stressed out about every little thing, fly off the handle for no reason and was generally in a state of anxiety 24/7. It's all gone now. Sometimes I almost laugh at how much I don't care about annoyances. I'm just super relaxed. I've been doing much better socially too, I actually crave for the interaction.

Anyone who just started the journey or considering it, it's so worth it! Life-changing really.
