So the GN thing is over, students were cheering like they just got out of prison. I am not sure my personality is any better than it was before. You cannot teach personality growth in a classroom! Just like you cannot learn swimming from a book.

Literally everyone I talk to just doesn't value this course. They just go for attendance. And absolutely get annoyed by its assignments. I have not met a single person who was enthusiastic about going to the GN class. Everybody just using their phones anyway.

But a better idea is to replace this course with an "AI for everyone" course which could teach us how to use AI for making presentations, handling excel sheets and analysing data. The World is moving fast with AI and I think it's time we create a professional course for it. And the best part is no matter what department you are from, AI will absolutely make your work more efficient. Therefore, it should be offered to all departments.

I haven't watched anything after Endgame. But now, I wanna watch all movies that I need before going for Doomsday. Do NOT recommend series. I cannot watch those.

My first time in Chennai, I land at the Chennai airport. Cannot find any taxi, but I only needed to go for 2-3 kms. It was around 9:30 PM. So I went to the rapido counter at the pickup point, they booked a car for me through rapido. And told me the fare would be 375. It was a lot for just 2-3 kms but I agreed as taxis were not available at that time.

The car arrives, the driver asks for OTP, then I go with him. After 10 minutes, we are at the destination, and the driver says give 500, not 375. First I told him that rapido only shows 375, then he told me he is not from rapido (tf???). Then I said I called you through the rapido counter, so he said it is because I have luggage, so it costs 500. I am like in what universe does that happen?

Then again he flipped his story, saying airport pickup point charges 265 rupees for taxis to enter! I was beginning to think he is trying to scam me. So I paid him 400 and ran away, while he kept shouting at me and abusing me.

How often do these things happen?

I have good coding experience with Python but I have only ever used Google Colab, never actually ran any codes on my local machine. I don't know anything about environments, installations, or anything else. I have been a mathematician who used colab for quick data analysis. But right now I am trying to deploy some models for which I am told I need to use my local machine.

Unfortunately, I am really squeezed between deadlines, and don't have much time to learn an IDE which has a steep learning curve.

Any data from last year?

Why are all the trains so badly delayed? My puri to howrah vande bharat was late by 6 hours. Nearly all the trains in this route last week were delayed by 4-6 hours.

Anybody know what's going on there? Things are looking normal this week though.

1. How are the health facilities? I am sickly boy, and need good facilities in the vicinity.

2. Do taxi drivers and delivery guys give you trouble for not speaking Tamil?

3. And most importantly, what is the gender ratio? (I ask this purely for research purposes of course!)

Are there monkeys only on isolated forest regions, or are they roaming around near buildings as well? How many students are harassed by them?

I am afraid of monkey and don't think I will accept IIT Madras offer letter if monkeys are a serious danger there.

I have bought a new phone, want to get rid of the old phone. Unfortunately, it appears a task impossible to log out of the old phone without deleting the gmail account permanently.
