It was a rough Matchday 14 for 3 of the 5 clubs against Eastern foe. But at least the Western Conference had three straight weeks of undefeated play from Matchday 11 to Matchday 13. But the West fell flat on its face come Matchday 14. For the second time this year, Minnesota got cooked, while first timers Portland and LAFC take an L from the East

Going to change things up this week. Take this as a hint Kuntz .. he is out of excuses for why is style of play "Vanney Blow" I mean "Vanney Ball" doesn't work with this set of players .. The Galaxy are a better quick-counter attack style team but as soon as Vanney tries his "Vanney Blow" against the THEN WOODEN SPOON HOLDERS we lose again. the only two wins this Sporting KC side has all season!!!!!!!!

Mid-Week Matchday! Gotta love the shake up these games represent. Will Dallas keep up the pace and surprise the Caps at home? Can the Galaxy get revenge on an early home loss to SKC? Will the Pids slide continue against RED hot MNUFC? LAFC got what the doctor ordered StlCITY but is the 0-4 road loss still on there mind? RSL back home to collect 3pts or is Houston going continue its good form? SDFC back in the win column with a return home or will Austin make it 10 games winless?

And the West AfterDark cap is Seattle vs San Jose .. SJ wants revenge and Seattle wants to find the goal more often .. exciting mid week action!

Welcome back to the 2026 Two-Goal Lead Support Group (2G-LSG) - Session Post Matchday 11. This week saw at home San Diego FC squander another 2-0 in the final 10 mins plus 14+ ET mins of game and let the Away side control most of the late-game and squeak a draw out in the dying moments of the match.

This Week’s Member:

  • Club: San Diego FC
  • Opponent: LAFC
  • Lead they had: 2-0 (again… yes, AGAIN)
  • Final result: 2-2  (copy + paste from last time)

What Went Wrong:

  • Built a 2-0 lead just to immediately start a controlled demolition
  • Treated LAFC like they were down bad… turns out they were just warming up
  • Midfield clocked out like it was 5pm on a Friday
  • At this point, 2-0 isn’t a lead—it’s a countdown timer

Timeline of the Meltdown:

  • Early Game: San Diego FC flying
  • Mid Game: Control pace, control outcome against a B squad
  • Late Game: LAFC fully activated
  • Final Whistle: Reserved seat in the support group—second time this young season

Support Group Advice:

You’ve already proven you can blow a 2-0 lead… no need to run it back for practice.

A 2-0 lead is not a signal to start roleplaying as traffic cones.

At this rate, opponents see 2-0 and think: ‘Perfect, right where we want them.’

Parking the bus twice is impressive… especially when it rolls downhill both times.
