Listening to this week’s episodes really made me dig into the old memory banks: I was on a bus with my high school’s baseball team (we were total ass, but that’s besides the point) and someone told our driver/coach to turn on the radio. When the news was dropped that said “they got him!”, the bus erupted in yells and cheers. Looking back, it felt almost masturbatory; like it was the biggest win ever in military history (despite being a massive clusterfuck).

It’s such a specific sense memory I had, especially considering how much military propaganda we’ve been fed since I’ve been alive at least. So where were you when it happened? Did you have that experience or something different?

Hi all! I just bought my first telecaster (a Squire Sonic) and I’m really stoked on playing it! Now, I don’t think it was necessarily from the place I bought it from, but I noticed the action is REALLY low, like basically so much that there’s a ton of fret buzz and the tuning stability is basically non-existent. I adjusted the truss rod and it helped a bit, but do y’all have any other tips for trying to set it up myself?

Hi all! I have a 2nd Gen Focusrite Solo and recently got a new computer that doesn’t have the USB A port (damn forced obsolescence!); can I get an adapter/USB-C cable and still have it work? I’d prefer not to get a new audio interface? (I do want to get a better one at some point, but I can’t afford it at the moment!)
