So about 1 to 2 years ago, I saw a video edit on here of someone creating a smooth transition of the endings between Dystopia to Head Over Heels to Dark Things. I’m trying to find that video again cause I need that itch for some reason lol, and I’m genuinely sad that Silos didn’t have that Dystopia to Head Over Heels transition

Story: Jonathan Crane works at Arkham State Hospital, and he operates over the many unethical experiments and treatments in the restricted wing at Arkham. Then he gets a demented idea. His patients he treats gets visitors every once in awhile. He decides to learn about each visitor and then follow them and stalk them, and at a random night, he enters their home as a Scarecrow, sprays gas on them. then when they wake up they start seeing their worst fears imaginable, very vivid. Eventually they get so bad they have to be transferred to Arkham, so Crane gets more patients to treat. A vicious cycle that leads to an overcrowded Arkham.
i may be alone with this, but with how anthemic the chorus was, the electronics in the verse and subtle vocal processing, the cinematic opening and overall sound, it reminds me a bit of Brave New World by Starset, or their heavier songs in general.
Am I the only one that feels this way? I absolutely love both covers and think they’re both some of the best songs from SILOS. parad0x1c and ann1h1lat10n kind of continue the atmosphere of those covers with Horizons and Vessels mixed in. I think parad0x1c even has similar vocal effects to Head Over Heels but taken to the extreme, I could be wrong. I’m hoping we get at least one softer more atmospheric song in the vein of Head Over Heels or Shattered Dreams.
Power went out last night in Christiana, then came back on earlier this morning, and then went out again at 2:25pm, and now it says power won’t be restored until Friday.
Absolutely ridiculous if so, storm wasn’t even that bad :/
Easy Street took a few listens to grow on me, Insignificant Other was an instant love, the blues influence, 70s classic rock, ethereal vibes, Josh’s vocals, the structure. all of it combines to make one fantastic song. I absolutely love it. Hope other people feel the same.
I’m only a casual Starset fan, so the new Instagram post, the password, the heavenly word and the Prox propaganda and cryptic teasing, does this all mean new music is coming, or is the band teasing a new book? Just want clarification!
As a disclaimer, I am not counting any rumored villains for Part II (so off the list is Poison Ivy, Victor Zsasz, Harvey Dent, Hush, and I’ve also seen Deacon Blackfire speculation, I also won’t include Clayface due to his DCU connections). I am only choosing a couple of villains.

Don’t get me wrong, SZNZ: Autumn is top 5 Weezer in my opinion, and already perfect. But holy shit, after hearing this demo, the synths and tone immediately gave me Autumn vibes. I can’t but wonder what it would be like if this song was included on SZNZ: Autumn as an 8th song, it’d be an 11/10 in my opinion.
As a fan of Statica, I’m excited to hear the remaining 2 songs, however I hope they’re not vinyl exclusives. Do we know officially if they’re just vinyl exclusives or will they be coming to streaming the same day the vinyl ships out?
