What movie comes to your mind when you listen to a Starset song?

The reason I’m asking this is that I can’t really get the books right now, so I’m looking for movies that have the same vibe as Starset’s songs. Could you write which movies each song reminds you of based on the vibe?
When I listen to Other Worlds Than These and Falling Back to the Earth, I always think of Interstellar.

I am HOWLING at the name 😅😅🤣🤣 and curious about it

OK so I'm sitting in line at Starbucks being the basic white girl that I am, and apparently it's this location in Ohio that everyone who listens to Starset/BMTH/BB/etc. goes to because I've heard these types of stories before from one of the barista's who works here, plus my other friends who come in. Never thought I would have one myself, but here I am 😄😄

So I'm in the drive thru, rocking to We Are Empire, and the barista working the window asks me the name of the band bc someone else had come through earlier listening to it and she couldn't remember the group.

And before I could say anything, she says "I know it's like the opposite of that one soda, the Sunkist stuff? Oh, they're called Stardrop or something, right?"

😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰

When I tell y'all the look on her face was so excited because she kinda remembered it 🤭🤭 I giggled ferociously and said "Close - Starset." She goes "yeah, them!" And she wrote it down so she could look them up later.

So, if you're the barista who just discovered the opposite of Sunkist - Stardrop (Starset) - and happen to see this post.... Welcome to Starset and The Starset Society ☆☆ and you made my morning fantastically memorable (not even talking about the coffee which was also delish!!)

Also - can we all take a second to imagine what Stardrop would look and sound like?? For some reason I go straight to jazz/R&B.

A Wallpaper

I was planning to finally change my laptop's wallpaper to something that can actually reflect my love for Starset. So after some thinking and choices it ultimately came down to this. Quite frankly, all I did was grab an image I found somewhere on the internet and I just added the star on it. I wanna know what you guys think about it.

Horizons

Does horizons also kill you guys? Like something about this album is so astronomically amazing it hurts me. This is by far my favorite album from them and it 100% will always be my favorite album. It like physically harms me to listen to this album I love it THAT much. I listen to the full album at least once a day and at this point I need to actually just consume it. I need to like feel Horizons in my bones.

Does anyone else have these normal feelings ab Horizons? If u feel this way about another album or even one of their songs please share because I'm interested

Got to see Enough played live

I got to see Ra play the song Enough live tonight on a tour opening for Red. Obviously Dustin wasn’t there singing with him but I thought it was really cool to see. He mentioned STARSET and Dustin before playing it talking about how he’s worked with them on multiple songs and had nothing but positive experiences. He also talked about how the song was originally gonna be on the DIVISIONS record, it was kinda nuts how much he sounded like Dustin in the parts where Dustin sings in the studio version of the song.

Something Wicked BB

What are thoughts on the new Breaking Benjamin Song? For me its a 10/10. It also feels like a big reference to STARSET's "Something Wicked". The name itself, the whole line "Something Wicked this way comes" and then the end of the song which starts with wispering "Something wicked this way comes" and the BB starts screaming this sentence 3 more times and then the song ends just like in STARSETS's Something wicked except its not wispering but screaming. Not that its bad i actually think thats pretty cool that BB references STARSET.

What is your favorite Dustin Bates movie?

I think he was especially good in Harry Potter (In Downplay era). Waiting for Christopher Nolan's Odyssey
