Very hard to enjoy the new music videos when every shot looks like the same AI slop videos we've seen for the past 3 years on social media. It sucks cuz the videos have great ideas but they all just come across so sterile cuz of the AI video generation. I'm glad the AI backlash hasn't died down because I miss the truly great music videos the band used to make. Now they just look like some slop from instagram reels.

The lyrics for this song hit like a ton a bricks. I don't really relate to em, but the story is so heavy like.. OUCH!

Being stuck in an abusive relationship that you allow yourself to stay stuck in because you love the person too much to let go. But it ultimately drains you of who you are, and you know what they're doing, but its too hard to let go, so you let them keep taking just so you could keep them, even telling them to take everything they want just to keep them.....

At least, that's how I interpreted the lyrics. Its just so heavy to listen to, almost disturbing or sickening to listen to. But the song is so darn good and Dustin really delivers so much emotion into the lyrics its amazing

The only set of lyrics I don't fully understand is, "–and your god" right after it says "let me be your victim–"

Anyone got any ideas for that one or maybe an alternative interpretation to the song?

I really love their sound. Very cinematic and catchy. Their sci fi lore helps em standout too especially. Starset is definitely in my top 5 bands easily. I always come back to them :) What would you guys say that makes Starset standout amongst others? I’m sure y’all can explain better than me

Hello Messengers. My name is Callon J. Taylor, and I am the co-founder and creator of The Satellite/NIGHT.wav Productions.

Earlier this year, Dustin mentioned during the Immersions live-stream that he can’t afford to create a professionally made audiobook for either The PROX Transmissions or A Brief History Of The Future. So, my team and I decided that we’d just do it ourselves.

The plan at this current moment in time is to split the novel into seven “episodes” to release in small chunks and then compile them into a full-length Audiobook that will be available on YouTube for free. Our plan is to record the first two episodes and provide a Flash Drive containing them to Dustin later this year to get his permission to post them online.

However, to get there, we require voice actors willing to lend their voices to, admittedly, minor roles to complete the Audiobook.

HERE IS WHAT I NEED:

1. You MUST have a copy of both The PROX Transmissions and A Brief History Of The Future either physically or digitally.
2. You MUST have an actual microphone that isn’t a phone or webcam. We need crisp audio
3. You MUST have a Discord Account to direct message with me.

This has nothing to do with starset in almost any capacity, so i tell yall bc yall are my people, but I’m lonely. Very. I like a this girl, but she doesn’t like me, we’re friends now, but i tried to shoot my shot, but it never worked out. I just hung out with her the other day and i sat across the table from her as she got some dudes phone number. Lowkey a Charlie ahh moment, but against my will and i didn’t get paid for it. The song Ad Astra was a song that felt like it was directly speaking to me about everything in my life that’s going on rn. So idk, ig i’ll just post this now, can’t think of anything else to say rn

Let It Die is my second favorite of Starset, after Perfect Machine. My interpretation of this song is like:

Someone who is totally losing themselves, desperately emitting back the snuffed-out flicker of the light, and puzzling back piece by piece. Alone.

The “you” itself is them doing a monologue.

Is it okay? Or is there any canon interpretation? Or do you have yours? If so, I’d love to hear your perspectives! 🙂‍↕️💙

This might be a hot take, but if Starset had tried a different song structure rather like the usual verse, chorus, verse chorus, it could sound genuinely good or at least fun and surprising, especially fitting for a cinematic band. I am not saying they should copy sleep token or anything like that, I just think if they did an abnormal song structure, it would sound soo good

I love BB, they were my first concert but oml I wish I discovered Starset sooner, if it wasn’t for SILOS being comprised of mostly singles it would’ve been my favorite release of 2025 (to those curious, my fav was Tsunami Sea by Spiritbox)

Literally hoping and praying they play Degenerate (don’t spoil)

On the first day of Aftershock it was sometime early afternoon and me n my friends decided to walk around the Epicenter area because the bands we wanted to see weren't gonna play 'till later, then as we were walking I saw Dustin in the crowd. I recognized him so fast and before my friends could see him i BOOKED IT to go say hi 'cause he was walkin away. I was so goddamn nervous my hands got all clammy and i could barely speak coherently but we got a photo together. He was super nice!!! I said I liked the new hair and he gave me a hug and a fistbump after our photo. I felt like those dramatic scenes in cartoons where they pass out from shock or something 'cause that whole interaction made me lightheaded afterwards. Never in my life did I think I would be able to see one of if not my favorite singers ever just walkin around in the crowd.

Later that night I of course went to see Starset play and they were AWESOME!!! This was my second time seeing them live and oh my god it was an even better performance than the last time. Dustin announced towards the end of their set that they'd be having a tour soon as the headliners so I'm stoked for that to come out. One of these days I'd really like to meet the rest of the band and get a shirt or piece of merch signed by all of them.
