I've been playing rocket league for around 5 years, and for three of those years I was younger so I didn't really care much and only in the past two years have I really tried to play. I naturally am around a plat skill level and I have a ***67.4% win rate*** I average ****3.6 goals per match and 2.5 saves per match****** I believe I'm pretty good I have 1v1 Grand champs and champs and beat them I'm not super good at mechanics, but I'm exceedingly good for a mostly gold player. I watch tutorials and try everything to get better but I'm always hard stuck on gold and sometimes plat. I have about 300 hours in the game. I can easily win tournaments in gold and stuff but never able to get outta it, no matter how much I try

To make sure I'm not breaking the rules of the subReddit here are my play styles and stuff.

For the most part I like to hit power shots from far away, or let my teammate set up a good shot for me. I'm decently aggressive but not very defensive I would like to say that I'm a midfielder if we're talking about regular soccer.

I've been dealing with off and on depression for 3 years, (a few months it'll be there and then a few months it's gone) it started light and normal, but now it's gotten so bad i finally agreed for therapy.... What I want advice for is, do I seek a diagnosis or just heal? Do I just not know what's going on, or strictly find out the diagnosis? I mean I want to know, but I don't want to ask for a diagnosis either...

(Also how do I tell him, I've been getting too overwhelmed and not having anywhere to release my anger, and I scratch myself)
