I gave birth last July and got really bad ppd and ppa. I took Paxil and fast forward 5 months I got stable with 37.5mg. I felt good so I decided to go off the medication I know that was a dumb idea I tapered in 2 months another dumb idea. 4 days being off Paxil I went back to 12.5mg I stabilized for 2 weeks the anxiety and depression came right back so I went up to 25mg I’ve been on 25mg for 4 weeks. I had appointment with my doctor he mentioned that I should take zurzuvae with Paxil. That will help but I’m an almost a year into ppd and ppa. I still have tiredness from Paxil will it make me more tired. Is it even safe?

Definitely feel side effects like very tired and sleepy, head heaviness, insomnia, anxiety worried feeling, thinking constantly, GI issues so I just want to know if I’m made the right choice for going up to 25mg I just want to be stable at this point I don’t care about tapering. Has anyone got off Paxil then restarted and felt better? I’m scared it won’t work? And how long will it take for me to feel better do I have to go to 37.5? that was my original dose please help!
