Wyze Cam V3 power options

Wyze Cam V3 power options

Bought one used for $10 at a yard sale. Working fine.

After poking around, seems the Thingino custom FW is "best" for this device. Great, I'll flash it.

I want it at the front door of a stairwell, thus there's no nearby power outlets.

My thoughts for options are:

  1. Light bulb socket outlet adapter. Hacky, but if I could hide everything cleanly that works.

  2. PoE injector. Would be preferred so that I don't need WiFi or an SD Card, but in checking other threads on this, it's kind of getting expensive for a cheap device... (Ubiquiti has a 802.3af adapter for 30 CAD...)

  3. Lead-Acid powered battery backup / Lead-Acid power bank? No LiPo risk of fire, though it would be heavy and inconvenient if it's large... I can't get the Elecom Sodium-Ion battery bank yet, as it's only sold in Japan, and reshippers don't have enough information/SDS data to safely provide the package to the shipping company.

  4. Solar panel in the window of the door. Could charge a small Pb battery or something similar, or just have the device on while it's sunny out?

Thanks

Bedbugs or something else?

No pets. Mattresses encased in protectors. Cleaning/vacuuming weekly. Sheets checked and are all clean/no blood spots/carcasses/etc.

Two small flat spots + one bigger more itchy bump, both a bit abovr the ankle. No other bumps anywhere else.

The lip(top?) of my sock did rest where the bigger bump is. Polyesther socks.

Only new thing in the house was a used solid wood table I heavily cleaned and checked, that the old owner stored outside over a hard cold winter (-10 to -30, so we reason nothing couldve survived).

Potential ideas:

* reaction due to exfoliation, as I use a lufah in the shower.

* reaction to plant brushing against leg

* sweat glands etc over reacting? The visible hairs are not coming from the larger bump

* irritation due to socks / clothes?

Thank you.

Desperate to find a replacement HEPA filter for my Oreck Venture (Part 440004496)

I've been searching for YEARS to try and find a replacement filter for my Oreck Venture. I love this vacuum and it's still working perfectly fine, though some of the parts are getting old.

In particular, I NEED a new HEPA replacement filter. Present one is nasty as heck, but the filter has stopped being made. I don't think I am capable enough to DIY one, but in searching I have not found any in a similar 2 x 3 design + encasement setup.

Filter UPC is 440004496 for the :

  • Oreck SK30075PC (mine) / SK30080PC
  • Hoover SH30050

Pictures: https://www.partswarehouse.com/Hoover-Hepa-Filter-w-Foam-HOO-440004496-p/HOO-440004496.htm

If DIY is really the only option, what should I do? Buy a big roll of HEPA material, remove the old stuff, and reseal it?

Thank you all very much

This is NOT a thread looking for support, half-rant half wondering if this happened to other folks.

Tried subscribing to Deezer today, made an account and went to checkout.

Tried using Visa and Mastercard Debit Creditcards (The debit cards that let you use them online basically). None of them worked, either "Unable to process transaction" or "Issue with card details", despite all details being OK, and all the bank cards i tried have 3D Secure.

I can't even buy a gift card for myself, instead of using the free trial, since I thought the trial might be the issue.

Just wondering if this affected anyone else? I don't have a traditional credit card (non-debit)... and there's no physical gift cards in Canada... and per a friend that tried, you can't use those prepaid Visa gift credit cards either.

I haven't tried through PayPal checkout, but I didn't really want to use them, not a fan of PayPal.

Also support was useless, they just told me to try another payment method... like hello, I did?

I'm actually impressed that out of all the streaming sites, Deezer has the best organization for artists (esp those with same name), and the best selection (most amount of singles/albums etc for an artist, compared to other sites).

Thanks
