Czech student visa: digital-only U.S. bank statements rejected as not “original” — has anyone dealt with this?

I’m hoping someone here has firsthand experience with this.

I’m applying for a Czech student visa, and my application was deemed inadmissible because I submitted U.S. bank statements that I downloaded as PDFs from my digital-only bank and printed myself. The embassy said they were not considered “original” bank statements.

For those who have gone through the Czech student visa process, what did you do if your bank didn’t have physical branches or issue stamped paper statements?

Did the embassy accept any of the following instead?

  • An official bank letter confirming account ownership and balance
  • Certified or authenticated bank statements
  • Mailed bank statements
  • Any other document that satisfied the proof of funds requirement

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with this situation or found a solution. Thanks!

Has anyone gotten official/stamped Apple Savings (Goldman Sachs) bank statements for a visa application?

I’m hoping someone here has firsthand experience with this.

I’m applying for a student visa in the EU/Schengen region. My application was deemed inadmissible because I submitted Apple Savings (Goldman Sachs) bank statements that I downloaded as PDFs and printed myself. The embassy said they were not considered “original” bank statements.

I’ve already contacted Apple Support and escalated the issue, but because Apple Savings is a digital-only bank with no physical branches, I’m unsure what options actually exist. The current estimated response time is 7–10 business days.

Has anyone successfully obtained any of the following from Apple Savings/Goldman Sachs?

  • Wet-stamped or certified bank statements
  • Official bank statements authenticated by the bank
  • An official balance or account verification letter
  • Any other document that an embassy accepted as proof of funds

Thanks!

After losing my job, my cousin checks-in with me every week and is being anal about my progress. How to stop it?

I am a guy in my 30's. I lost my job and my mom within the same month.

My cousin who is older to me and used to talk to me once/twice in 6 months, is suddenly calling me every week and keeps asking me for updates.

I am financially independent and have never needed or asked him for any financial help. I am not fragile and although I do appreciate him calling, the frequency is bothering me. I am an independent person and I don't like this behavior. I am not sure how to tell him to back off without sounding rude or having our relationship go sour. Please advice.
