Deciding between a 5080 overclocked and a 9070 xt overclocked

Hey I have the money for a 5080 overclocked and the difference is about 400 bucks I’m just wondering if it’s worth it? I’m trying to save money in general but I won’t be upgrading my pc for a very long time and I’d like to deck it out now. If it’s like a 20% increase in power I might lean towards it but if it’s less maybe not.

Help me build a pc

Hey guys I’m thinking of building a pc that will last me a while. I got some summer money for my job and don’t wanna blow all of it in a pc but I would like to build one while I have the chance. I need it to last me quite a while prolly 5-7 years without an upgrade running pretty well. I’d like to game. Pretty well and be able to stream and possibly edit YouTube videos. I’m thinking of a budget around 2000-2500? 3000 with monitor and keyboard and mouse. I have no pc knowledge but some of my friends do. I’d love if you could recommend a monitor not included in the pc budget but I’d be willing to spend it possibly 4k or lower whatever’s recommended. I’m in the us and using dollars. I’d like an alien wear case but honestly if you could recommend something cool looking I’d love to see pics. Also trying to spend as little as possible trying to save up for school. ALSO please try to use a pc picker link with the parts. Thanks so much! Appreciate the help!
