I've been listening to a lot of artists like Undertaken, HFM, Slowerpace, Macroblank, etc, and really wanna emulate that loungy, downtempo style of music they produce. I know that style of Barber Beats/Vaporwave can get pretty sample heavy. Does anyone have any resources for producing this style? Sample packs, video tutorials, reddit threads, or like any general advice would be great.
I've got about 8 people in my group of friends trying to play in a lobby, however after about 5 minutes everyone but the host gets a connection lost error and can't join back. Also one player on Linux just can't seem to join other people's lobbies. All of us are on pc. Anyone else experiencing something similar? I've seen it a bit for cross play but not a lot about pc connection issues.

I'm very new to producing and I've been trying to get into making liquid dnb along with ambient jungle. I'm having a really hard time finding the correct instruments for the melodies of the tracks. For reference I'm using Ableton Live 12 (lite for now unless I need to upgrade which I surely do) and I just can't get my piano or synth to have that same pluckiness or dreamy feel to match the pads/chords. Should I be sticking to the built-in Ableton instruments or getting something like Vital and using some presets? Any advice or recommendations on instrument packs would be a huge help. Examples or video recommendations would be great as well.
Not really an issue with the equipment itself but still a repair I'd like to do on my speakers. Recently acquired some Aaron ATS 4s which are fantastic, however they didn't have the grills for them. Usually not an issue but I have cats and I really don't want them scratching up the tweeters. Does anyone have any recommendations for custom grills, or know any replacement grills where the distance between the pegs is 8 inches width size and 29.5 inches height wise?
