Day 117 bells palsy smile
My smile on day 117. Anyone else get to around 4 months without a full smile then fully recover?

I was just wondering if any one has dealt with similar feelings? My Dad was not abusive as such, however he was neglectful and extremely passive in our relationship. When my parents split when I was 7 years old I saw him regularly considering he lived in Ireland and I lived in England, however when he met his now wife it gradually decreased, by age 12 I would see him once a year/18 months for a long weekend perhaps. I had my own child who is now 5 years old and decided to finally cut ties when my own son was 14 months old as he had not come to visit him, despite plenty of offers. I saw the same pattern play out. I was always blamed if I ever tried having an honest conversation and questioned why with him being accusing me of notbringing either. My feelings were dismissed and minimised and in the end I felt it was a constant losing battle. I now sit in guilt occasionally as three years have gone by and I was the one to cut ties. Is this normal?
I was feeling very overwhelmed today and I was struggling with getting WiFi on my phone in order to pay for car parking. I was faffing around for a good ten minutes and I began swearing under my breathe huffing and puffing becoming increasingly frustrated. My son was with me and he said 'Dad stop you are scaring me'. I immediately stopped, apologised and gave him a hug and snapped out of it.I feel very guilty as I completely lost my cool and composure if you like around him. Luckily he seemed to go about the rest of the day fine, but I've never had a comment like that from him before. I'm his Dad and have him most weekends, so I guess I worry he won't want to come over anymore..

Unsure what to expect, but I'm an addict and it filled up a lot of my time scrolling
I can now move my eyebrow on the affected side, but not as high as the unaffected eyebrow. Some weak lower forehead muscles are beginning to form when I frown. My eye still won't shut or blink properly and my smile is gone. No change around my mouth in terms of being able to lift it and smile and no new teeth can still be seen, although I can feel more mouth control strangely. Just wondering are these good signs ? Keeping busy but can't deny it plays on the mental health. Great outlet this sub
.
I now only have Facebook and Instagram..
Instagram? Facebook? TikTok?
Happier? Fomo?
Looking to hear of people's experiences who after six weeks had also struggled with noticing much improvement.
I can very very slightly raise the affected side eyebrow, but other than that pretty much fully paralysed on the affected side. Some people in work have said I appear less droopy, but I cannot notice myself.
On vitamin B, heat packs to help circulation. Plenty of rest and eating well in the main.
