Stel, je bent die trekker terroristen echt spuugzat. Wat zou daadwerkelijk een manier zijn om ze dat te laten voelen? Wat moet ik vooral niet meer kopen? Wat moet je vooral wel doen om de goede boeren te steunen?
Tegenprotesten werken niet. Dit land is protest-moe. Maar in je (koop)gedrag dingen veranderen zou misschien wel resultaten kunnen leveren. Jullie nog leuke tips?
Iemand langs laten komen voor te kijken naar opties voor onze benedenverdieping. Naast thuiswerken doen we hier natuurlijk eten, koken en is het deze zomer echt soms overleven geweest. De opties zijn vaak een salade maken of dood gaan van de hitte door het fornuis of oven. Ook hebben we een uitbouw aan de achterkant op het zuiden wat net een broeikas is.
Nu heb ik een offerte gekregen van €1800 voor één 5,2kw unit van Mitsui. Buitenunit zou op de grond in de voortuin komen. Prijs ben ik eigenlijk best tevreden over maar had eerlijk gezegd nog nooit van het merk gehoord? Als 2e optie raadde de adviseur Mitsubishi aan maar eigenlijk geen Daikin (hoorde daar altijd wel goede dingen over). Jij had er niet zo goede ervaringen mee dus vandaar een Mitsui.
Iemand ervaring met dit merk?
I understand this model makes purists angry and upset, but for my situation an EV starts to make more and more sense. And if i have to do pull the trigger on an EV i'd rather it be an Alfa than a soulless Hyundai or something.
I'm interested in hearing from those that own or have owned the Junior EV. What are your thoughts and how's reliability? Was it your first EV? Would you buy it again?
Also mostly interested in owners from the EU. Maintenance and costs are completely different here compared to the US.
I've been looking for a new car for a couple weeks now and can't really decide on going for a full EV or a PHEV. Did a test drive with both the Alfa Romeo Tonale and the Junior full EV (the basic standard version) and both drive great in my opinion.
The Tonale is a bit more expensive ofcourse, but over here (Netherlands) its maybe only a couple thousand more secondhand. But for that little bit extra you get a bigger car, a lot more extras (rear view camera, heated seats) and the benefit of a petrol engine. A full EV might work in our situation, but we will only have 1 car and some trips to friends/family will take around 300km roundtrip and not always a close charging option at destinations. And the Junior has a range exactly around 300km so that would mean always charging at highways in winter.
At the same time, i have no idea what maintenance costs might be on a PHEV and especially on an Alfa PHEV. A full EV in that sense has less things that could go wrong with it. So i want to know if there are any user experiences from people owning the Tonale PHEV and maybe some things to keep in mind. Practical range seems to be around 50km on EV only mode and that would maybe cover 80% of the 18k km we drive a year.
So i am trying to make up my mind on what to go for. I've done a test drive with both now, and love both of them. I like the Tonale PHEV better, but that makes sense since it has a lot more power. I like the look on both, but don't need the extra room the Tonale has (it's handy, but don't really need it).
Second hand in my area the Tonale can be found packed with options. Better colors, interior and more extra's like a rear view camera. For the same gadgets i need to spend a lot more on a Junior (or get an Ibrida, and i don't want that). Feels like i can get a lot more ''car'' for just a little bit extra cash.
So what are every day user experiences on both the Tonale PHEV and Junior EV? How is the Tonale's fuel consumption on long distances? How is maintenance on both? I'm European, if that helps to put it into context pricewise.
Couple weeks ago my bike would 'shut off' while riding. ABS light and FI started blinking, display turned off and bike would start 'coughing' slowly since FI stops working and a lot of backfires from exhaust.
Changed the battery. All was well for couple days and started normally. But now it has the same issues again. Am i right in saying the stator is probably broken? Anybody any idea what it could be and how easy it is to fix?
Vanwege de hard stijgende benzine prijzen en zonnepanelen die momenteel vooral terugleveren (want zoveel verbruik ik niet) ben ik eindelijk serieus een EV aan het overwegen.
Per jaar rij ik gemiddeld 18.000km. Werk is om de hoek dus dat is vrijwel altijd met de fiets (tenzij het verschrikkelijk weer is). De auto wordt voornamelijk gebruikt voor vrije tijds besteding. Familie en vrienden wonen door heel het land (NL). Langste afstand (enkele reis) zal rond de 130km zijn. We zijn maar met z'n 2 en hebben ook echt maar 1 auto nodig (die we dus wel veelvuldig voor tripjes/boodschappen gebruiken). Wel zijn we allebei lang en hebben de ruimte dus vooral voorin nodig. Hierdoor komt een SUV/Crossover type als eerste in mij op. Vooral vanwege rugklachten is de hoge instap wel een must.
Omdat ik nou eenmaal wat met het merk (en de looks) heb, ben ik aan het kijken naar een Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica. De andere opties zouden misschien zijn:
- Skoda Enyaq
- Renault Megane E-Tech EV60
- Peugeot 2008
- Opel Mokka-e
En vast een hele boel types die niet in mij opkomen. Geen Tesla. Vanwege Musk.
De range van de Alfa is vooral wat spannend voor mij. Als ik bij familie op bezoek ga die niet een laadpaal in de buurt hebben (en in een gehucht wonen) zal onderweg laden toch moeten. Maar ik vind het ook weer zonde om meer te betalen voor meer range als ik eigenlijk de auto voor woon-werk al niet nodig heb en die lange ritten misschien 1x in de maand voor zullen komen. Ik zal er vast ook mee op vakantie gaan en dan is dat natuurlijk richting Noord-Italië. Dat ik dan tussendoor moet opladen is geen probleem. WC-bezoekjes en koffie onderweg zijn ook regelmatig nodig.
Momenteel aan het zoeken naar een 'nieuwe' tweedehands auto. Voor de zoveelste dag op rij weer berichten over stijgende olie prijzen en laatst bij de pomp viel ik nog net niet flauw. Een EV is dus misschien juist nu de beste optie. Ook heb ik zonnepanelen die vanaf januari alleen maar geld kosten als ik opgewekte stroom niet zelf gebruik.
Vrijwel altijd heb ik een auto in bezit gehad (gekocht) omdat dat het goedkoopste is. Echter beginnen garage kosten ook behoorlijk te stijgen en ik kon altijd veel zelf, maar met de nieuwere modellen wordt dat steeds lastiger. Dus om niet om te hoeven kijken naar onderhoud misschien aan het overwegen om Private Lease te doen. Bij de keuze voor een EV zou het een no-brainer zijn wat mij betreft, want zal je net geluk hebben dat binnen korte tijd en net met aflopen garantie je even een nieuwe accu mag gaan betalen...
Uiteraard al veel op Google gezocht maar iemand ervaring met goede aanbieders? Wat zijn de addertjes om rekening mee te houden? Momenteel rij ik al snel 20k per jaar dus die koopjes met maar 5k per jaar heb ik geen donder aan natuurlijk. En is het verstandig om juist een slottermijn te hebben of van tevoren al een deel af te betalen voor lagere maandpremie?
I've seen more people ask the same thing, but i've also found that a lot of comments are based on gut feelings and taste. So here's the deal.
I'm at a point where i'm looking for a bigger car that doesn't have to be a sporty sedan that goes around corners while scream "poweeeer!" the whole time. I've owned multiple Alfa's before and understand completely what people mean by 'it's not really an Alfa' when they talk about certain models. But i'm at a point where i don't really care? I've driven the Tonale 1.3T and i absolutely loved the feeling.
So i started to research and see what people said about it, but i kept seeing that people think the Stelvio is better. I've never driven it, but for my situation i'd probably never consider the Stelvio. Why?
- The PHEV version is a no brainer for me because of solar panels. A lot of my destinations are in range for EV only but i want the flexibility to go on a 1000km trip as well.
- Stelvio seems either more expensive, older or higher mileage (or all together).
- I like the styling of the Tonale better.
- I was originally looking for either a Mazda CX-30 or CX-5. What i missed in those models was a PHEV option and while the CX-30 is a bit too small, the CX-5 is pretty bulky. A Stelvio is even bigger. Tonale is exactly the right size i think.
So what are actual real-world issues with the Tonale? If it drives a bit boring, i don't care. There are speed cameras everywhere and for excitement i take my motorcycle anyway. Are there any issues with reliability? People that actually own one and have issues with it? Any other reason to not buy one?
Terwijl ik vanaf een balkon op mijn vakantiebestemming zit te kijken naar een veel te dik en vatsig cruiseschip dat in een veel te klein haventje ligt, de mussen van het dak vallen want in Nederland was het nog niet heet genoeg en ik hier nog meer verbaasd ben over hoeveel mensen het prima vinden hun bek te verbouwen als ze 20 zijn... Waar zullen we staan over 20 jaar?
Als ik kijk naar hoe ik 20 jaar geleden bepaalde landen bezocht, waren die nog lekker klein en schattig. Geen massatoerisme, geen emotieloze appartementen/flats overal, geen cruiseschepen, en niet iedereen die er uit zag als Daffy Duck. Veel mooie plekken zijn volledig verpest maar we verpesten ons eigen land ook behoorlijk.
Het is mij te druk. Het is mij te heet. Het is me te duur. Waar kan ik heen? Is België nog een optie? Hoor dat iedereen daar altijd lacht en de taal is zo zacht.
