What happened to the Liberal Democrats?

Under Kennedy they were very much social democratic in ideology, even with neoliberals having roles in the party.

Then obviously Clegg came along...

And fast forward a bit to Davey, who's *alright* I guess. But I wouldn't call him a social democrat.

So what happened to that faction, and can they make a comeback

Thoughts on the late John P. Meier?

He was a Catholic Priest, Biblical Scholar, and Prelate.

He specialised in research on the historical Jesus, and while it most likely led him to some unorthodox views, he remained a Catholic in good standing at his death.

Personally, he is a big inspiration to me.

Progressive Catholicism is more common than you probably think

Ireland is a stereotypical conservative Catholic country.

But in my experience, young people like myself are by and large quite progressive (ie, affirming of LGBT, open to challenging traditional doctrines) while still being Catholic.

CCEA Balloon Question

Never been so flabbergasted, in that I knew quite literally nothing. I have gotten 0 marks on that one. Didn't even know where to start
