Help me with my book idea

I had an idea for a fantasy book I wanted to write, inspired by my love for Pokémon, monster hunter and monsters in general. The book will be written in the form of a diary of a monster-taming adventurer, noting down the fantastic monsters of this world and showing a little bit of it. It's almost like a field guide, but it will have a plot and mystery that develops as the chapters progress. I'm thinking of almost a Dungeon Meshy or Witch Hat Atelier vibe.

I'm still an amateur as an author and I would love to write a book that makes the reader want to know more about the world and feel like they're there with the diary's author, so I wanted some writing tips for beginners that can help with immersion and capturing emotion in a story like this. If you like, i can talk more about the world.

Confused about game project

Hello! So, i been wanting to develop my own board game for some time and i decided to create one inspired by my love for monster taming games, speciallly pokemon and digimon. This turned into two different ideas for games, two different vibes, themes and gameplay ideas and wanted to know, which one sounds more fun and if you would like to help me with it.

The first one is inspired by pokemon and monster hunter stories. In this game, the players are tamers, part of the monster tamer guild, a group of sicentists, aventurers and treasure hunters of different cultures that study, tame and fight the many magical creatures of this post disaster world. Each player, live their own adventure in a almost open world, discovering new species, taming new monsters and completing missions, but the main objective of the campaing is the decjded by the scenerio, selected before the game start, that is a big mission that the players need to solve to win. Like, solving the mysterious weather anomalies of the region, looking for a ancient relic related to a legendary monster, competenin the guild tournmentn etc. This would be a semi co-op game, with the players having the same objective, but forming their own paths and there would be a competition for prestige and rare findings for each guild. I also thought of a symbiosis system, when monsters share some of it's magic to the human use and they would fight along side it. The focus would be an epic adventure in a big world, with different biomes, looking for new species and taming them to fight by your side.

The second one is inspired by digimon. In this game, the players would be kids, that suddenly appered in a weird world, full of inteligent monsters and they must find their way home. Each player selects a kid and an unique monster partner, which have their own personality that can create a synergy with the selected kid personality, creating different relationships and game styles. Each monster partner have a branched evolution path, decided by abilities learned, narrative triggers and mostly importantly, it's relationship with the tamer. The game would also be an adventure, but it's full co-op and it would be a more narrative focused game, also decided by a sceneario selection before the game starts. The players would fight mosnters, meet weird characters, have epic evolutions and strengthen their bonds. The focus is a narrative adventure with only one monster partner, that you create a bond and your relationship and choices omin the adventure will change the story.

Sorry if i talked too much, but basically, i decided a lot more about the first idea then i had with the second one, like, i still haven't decided a setting for it, but i still like the idea. I'm still and amateur and i don't even know if this idess can work, so, i wanted to know your opnion about this ideas and i would like a littl bit of help.

A monster taming adventure game

I'm developing a campaing board game, inspired by monster taming games, like pokemon and monster hunter stories. In the game, players are tamers of the monster tamer guild, solving mysterious phenomena of this fantasy world, exploring the ruins of an ancient civilization lost after a past cataclysm and specially, study, tame, care and battle the diverse magical monsters of this world.

I'm still thinking of the rules, but i thought of it having a modular board, a selection of a setting that determine the main objective to win the game, a bond meter, that meters your relationship with your monster (this world has a magic power called symbiosis, when monster and tamer share energy and the monster can give part of it's power to the tamer) and a lot of other systems i thought, but the focus would be have an adventure, tame monsters and have fun memories with friends.

The main problem i'm having with this idea, is deciding if it's gonna be co-op or semi co-op. If it's co-op, the players would move together with only one miniature and would cooperate to complete the objetive, living the same adventure. If it's semi-coop, the players would be part of different guilds with unqieu skills and specialities, and they compete to find the rarest monsters and discoveries or complete missions and gain more prestige, but they wouldn't be enemies, they would encounter in the map to share information, fight together with bosses and camapaing events, but each player would live it's own unique aventure. Which play mode should this game be in your opnion?

I'm trying to write a fantasy book, inspired by my love for pokemon. The book would be written as a journal of an adventurer, writting about the various monsters he finds in the way and the civilizations of this world. I love the idea of this book and how i can create tons of unique monsters and it's also a fun way to do worldbuilding, but there's one thing that i'm having trouble with, "the story".

I have a format and an aesthetic i have in mind, something in the vibes of dungeon meshi and witch hat atelier, but none of the story ideas i had seemed good. I'm actually feeling a little lost trying to define what i actually want in this story. I don't know what is the goal, who is the protagonist, how is the common relation between monsters and humans, nothing.

I'm feeling really lost and i'm feeling like i'm losing intrest in this idea that at first i really loved, but now i'm losing the spark, only because i can't think of a good story. I still keep having new ideas for books and games that seem more intresting than this one and this also makes me angry, cause i used to love this idea and i don't want to give up again. Please, what can i do?

Hello. Well, i'm working on a passion project book, inspired by my love for fantastical monsters and specially, by my love for pokemon and monster hunter. The book will be written as the journal of a curious traveler, writing about his adventures and the fantastical crestures that live in this world and the mysteries surrounding them, getting into trouble, meeting various cultures and their relations with monsters and of course, taming some monsters and finding legendary species. I'm thinking on vibe similar to delicious in a dungeon or witch hat atelier.

The image you are seeing is a sketch of one of my first monster ideas for this project, i still don't have a name for it and this drawing is just to visualize the idea (it doesn't represent the final art of the book, i can draw better than that if you give me more time), but what i thought about it for now, is that he is kinda like a mysterious doctor of nature. Inspired by plague doctors, it produces hundreds of toxins and antidotes in it's body and helps healing corrupted creatures and plants of the land, but also can cause plagues, by elimating a certain number of people who pocess a treat to the ecossystem, which makes it a bit disliked by some cultures and seem as a messager of death. He has a certain of mysterious sense, that can somehow tell if someone is sick or gonna be sick, even before show any symptons and can anlyze it to determine the cure in the blink of an eye or even detect the weak points of an enemy.

I really love the idea of this book and the potencial to create a fun worldbuilding and monsters.... the problem is that i'm having trouble trying to have ideas for new monsters. I thought about termitates that use earth magic to form golem-like mobile conolies and some sort of fire ape, but i'm still working on that and i still need more ideas. Do you like my project idea? Can you help me with it?
