Loved this movie as a kid, and recently rewatched it again. Still has that same nostalgic feel! ❤️

Goal is a 2007 Malayalam sports drama/romance directed by Kamal, starring Rejith Menon, Aksha Pardasany and Muktha George.

It may not be a perfect movie, but for me, it’s one of those childhood movies that will always have a special place.

The football, songs, campus vibes and overall feel just hit differently.

Recently came across Red Rain (2013), and honestly, this deserves way more attention.

A Malayalam horror sci-fi directed by Rahul Sadasivan, the same filmmaker behind Bhoothakaalam and Bramayugam. The story follows a young scientist investigating mysterious cattle deaths and strange lights appearing in the sky. IMDb currently has it at 6.3/10.

What makes it interesting is that this was an attempt at an alien/sci-fi story in Malayalam way back in 2013. The movie definitely has its flaws, especially with the VFX and execution, but the concept and atmosphere were quite ambitious for its time.

Definitely feels like one of those Malayalam movies that was ahead of its time but got overlooked. 👽🌧️

So far, I still feel Detective is most underrated movie directed by Jeethu Joseph.

Just watched Ponman today and damn…

now I totally understand why Basil Joseph picked this project over Lokah.

I really hope Prithviraj Sukumaran improves a few things for L3 especially the soundtrack, costumes, and writing. The hype and visuals were massive in Empuraan, but many felt the music and some styling choices didn’t leave the same impact as Lucifer.Would love to see a darker, more grounded vibe in Azrael with stronger character costumes, sharper dialogues, and a tighter script. And for music, someone like Jakes Bejoy, Ravi Basrur, or Sushin Shyam could bring that goosebumps-level BGM the franchise deserves.

Prithviraj has the vision. If they nail the music, action, and writing, Azrael can be legendary.
