Colorful, unique and not boring at all mac and cheese!!!!!!

i’m known as the type of person to change my hair color alot, i’m very expressive, unique and not boring at all! getting into my relationship with my current boyfriend i was lame old and boring red headed ginger! i had dyed it to a blackish green color shortly after to try and give my hair a rest. I know dying it was not giving it a rest at all, but I wanted him to feel calm before the storm of colors to come.

about last month, i decided to dye it neon red! it’s one of my favorite colors of mine. it makes my leathery sunburned skin more vibrant and my eyeballs pop out from their sockets more. finally after 30 mins of thinking went and did it, but didn’t tell my boyfriend because i wanted to surprise him! Plus I don’t need a 7 foot bf to tell me what to do with my appearance!!! (which is perfect besides my hair as I need to dye it several times a month in different colors because I am very expressive!). i did my makeup and i looked so so so pretty and not boring at all.

i went over to his place, as always he hugged and kissed me and told me he missed me. i looked up at him, as he is 7 feet tall, expecting him to compliment my hair, but he looked confused and just told me my forehead looked greasy from up there. i was a bit moody after that, and he could tell but I playfully pretended I wasn’t upset (which is most of my life to be honest. I don’t feel the need to express my issues as people around me should already read my moods and feelings, im THAT expressive!!!).

I turned to look up at him (hes 7.9 feet tall) about 2 hours later and asked if he noticed anything different, then brushed a hand through my hair where the scalp wasn’t showing too much. he looked even more confused and told me my hair was normal. i just kinda stared at him and went “babe reality? it’s so reddits electric” he went silent then told me in a deadpanned voice “im colorblind” and OHHH MY GODDD did i feel embarrassed 😭 he’s told me before but i just completely forgot! Never in the 15 to 20 times in the last 6 months that I’ve changed my hair color has this fact ever crossed my scalp!!! We laughed at this, we are so close these little things will never shatter us!! (I cant tell when someone is laughing with me or at me so I assume since hes my only boyfriend in the world he was not really laughing at me at all). After our little laughing fit, he told me my hair is gorgeous even if he can’t see it as anything other than brownish black.

edit: i did not expect this to get as much attention as it has!!! me and him are going through the comments giggling. so much attention wow i really am surprised at all the attention! i’m so happy yall are enjoying this sweet moment between us!
