Just joined the Pacifica family!

Hey everyone!

After owning Fender, Gibson, etc.. I decided to go with something new. I feel like you don't get what you pay for anymore with those brands (quality control has gone downhill). Some of my best musical equipment has been my Yamaha E-Drums (DTX6K5) and my Yamaha Acoustic.

Took the plunge and got a brand new Yamaha Standard Plus with a setup.

Already in love with it! What a freaking nice guitar.. the feel, the playability, the tone from the Rupert Neve pickups.. everything is incredible and punches FAR above its weight. Couldn't stop playing it the day I got it...

Beyond satisfied with my purchase and hope it lasts me years to come.

I painstakingly read over many comments and posts within this sub which helped seal the deal so wanted to thank everyone!

Alternative to ATG Backwards Treadmill in Canada?

Hey everyone --

I'm interested in purchasing a reverse treadmill like the ATG "The Backwards Treadmill".. but at 650 US with conversion to CAD, shipping here, etc it gets pretty pricey.

Any alternatives that anyone here uses that can be easily purchased in Canada and at a more affordable price?

[Product Question] First Aid Beauty Ultimate Repair Cream replacement suggestions

Hello everyone!

I've been using First Aid Beauty Ultimate Repair Cream as my primary day/night moisturizer since 2017. For my extremely sensitive/picky/dehydrated skin it's worked "ok" but it was the only one that didn't irritate my skin when the original Avene Skin Recovery Cream was discontinued.

I'm not sure what's happened in the last 6 months or so (did they change the formula?) but now the product just burns and irritates my skin.

I'm wondering if anyone else previously used this cream and had the same experience?

And what were you able to replace it with that worked as good or better without irritating/burning the skin?

Lowered Heart Rate from Cromolyn

Hey everyone --

I just recently started Cromolyn Sodium. I take 1 capsule 15-20 min before each meal and one at bedtime.

I'm already on Fexofenadine and Famotidine daily.

My resting heart rate varies but usually in the 70s.. But today it was as low as 49 and has been hovering between 52-57. Far less sweating today as well and heat intolerance. I usually run warm but am a lot cooler.

Has anyone experienced this? Is the mast cell stabilization halting the constant adrenaline surges?

NoBull Drive Ripstop Alternative

Hey everyone --

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend an alternative to the NoBull Drive Ripstop?

I love how they fit/feel, but they're so cheaply made. NoBull had to send two replacements to me as there was a defect in the sole, and the black outer covering started peeling off after only several uses.

I'm avoiding the company for this reason as it seems they have poor quality control (or at least for the batch I got!).

Any alternatives that have the same fit/feel?
