That helped me realize the mind-boggling conclusion that Splatoon 4 releases after Splatoon 3. 🤯

As the title suggests, my girlfriend has been getting into Pokemon. We’ve been watching the original Pokemon series that I used to watch as a kid. We are currently in Johto.
She has suggested interest in playing a game but I am unsure what to recommend. Consoles are not a limitation.
I have my Gameboy, DS, 3DS, and switch. And I have all games from Gen 1 - 9.
What would you recommend?
Also, she’s not much of a gamer but does like playing with me because it is my big hobby. She loves Mario Party for example but struggles on things like Kart and Smash Bros. I know Pokemon is not as intensive but just wanted to provide some additional context.
I would appreciate if I can get some help to identify if this is real.
This is my 3rd attempt at trying to find a real platinum game.
I decided to pick up Pokemon Let’s Go again this year after wanting to shiny hunt Kanto Pokemon.
Squirtle is my favorite starter from this region. So, glad I can finally add her to the squad.
What’s a shiny you weren’t necessarily looking for or didn’t know how it’s shiny form looked like, and it surprised you so much?
For me it was Gigalith. It was a full odds shiny I caught during my first week of Pokemon Shield. I wouldn’t catch another shiny for the next two years until DA raids became available.
I finally caught all the Tapus!
It was really fun and I’m glad I did it. The year DA was released, I was intent on finding a Tapu Fini. Out of all the Tapus, I just wanted this one because I liked the design and type combination. I ended up not finding it years ago.
I replayed Ultra Moon and remembered how cool these pokemon were and I started the hunt. Started off with just wanting Fini. I got it and was casually hunting the others for fun. One day, I got Lele, I thought “at least I have the sisters”. Next thing you know, I got Koko on one attempt and I locked in for Bulu.
I am definitely going to take a break from DAs and maybe try Bluez DA weekend!

My original post was taken down but I just wanted to thank everyone who sent their shiny energy towards me.
I finally got Tapu Bulu after 193 successful DAs (I’m sure it was over 200 with how many I lost).
For anyone looking for this Mon, I highly recommend the following Pokemon to use as your dynamax pokemon:
- Garbador
- Ivysaur (preferred)
- Salazzle (preferred)
- Gloom
- Weezing (preferred)
I highly recommend having your Pokemon be poison. The 4x weakness makes a huge difference. I always found it easiest when using Salazzle against Bulu. If no poison, look for Fire or Steel.
Fire: Heatran is the best one. Alt: Talonflame, Alolan Marowak
Steel: Duraladon is the best one. Alt: Copperajah, Togedamaru
Steel can be a liability because of superpower. The same goes for Ice which tend to be more frail. Flying can be good but I prefer special attackers (like Fire & Poison) given Bulu’s bulk. The speed boost is nice though.
As for supporting Pokemon outside of the Bulu’s type weakness, I always kept an eye for the following:
- Togetic (incredibly bulky against Bulu; life dew can be a life saver)
- Tsareena (most of the attacks except for Megahorn damage it. Acrobatics came in clutch for me so many times)
- Haunter (hypnosis helped me so much)
I would definitely recommend avoiding the following Pokemon even if they favoreable match ups:
- Charmeleon (Solar Power can be a liability to your health)
- Toxtricity (no poison moves…)
- All flying types except Talonflame

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has a Lunala path available?
This is not the best picture but if anyone was curious as to how shiny Ash-Greninja would look like, here is a picture from Pokemon Home.
Shiny Ash-Greninja is unobtainable. I don’t have one.
If you’re wondering how I did this, I have a shiny normal greninja.
I click on it on Pokemon Home and then scroll to Ash-Greninja which will appear normally. I then hit the Green X button at the bottom and then you’ll see the Ash-Greninja shiny like in the screenshot.
You can do this in Pokemon Home with shiny Pokemon that have multiple forms. Do keep in mind you have to have Ash-Greninja or the other forms to do this (it doesn’t need to be shiny though)
