It's made it clear that the one main factor Shanks waits for the right time and doesn't begin his war, is that the King's power is immeasurable and he can't even imagine beating him.

Idk man but I seriously don't think Gaban is about to get "neg diffed" next chapter. The story flow would be very weird if that were the case.

Oda literally made Imu pull out an axe before Gaban shows up, it's too in the face that they will be fighting with axes and Imu won't just be "one tapping and getting him out of the way". Gaban atleast stalls for long enough that Loki and Luffy recover.

It's a gigantic dragon of pure magma bruh, Shanks or Roger are like ants in comparison. They get vaporised instantly.

Shanks/Roger : Only haki

Kaido : Haki + mythical zoan + impenetrable durability + strongest attacks + WSC

People acting like they would lose to "Big mom" in prime or are below bums like Oden or are "YC+" in old age is so batshit insane to me I have trouble believing we read the same manga. The big mom one is legit one of the worst takes I have ever seen.

Reality is they have never catched a real anti-feat in the story so people invented headcanons where they did, they have only been glazed by the actual story. They are both Yonko level at bare minimum in prime.

Betting against old gen in this manga is nasty business ngl, Oda would humiliate Mihawk 10000 times before he lets a single legend look bad

It is getting ridiculous now. Sure his gauntlet was ass, sure he didn't even fight the gauntlet alone and had a Yonko by his side, sure he couldn't kill Kinemon, got stalled by Yamato, almost got cooked by the 4th strongest Roger pirate(Oden) before a hag saved his life, had to make preparations and scheme so he doesn't have to face Hyogoro+Oden and their subordinates in battle.

Sure he'd get one shotted by Loki, got killed by a rookie that had just awakened his devil fruit and newly learned acoc, sure Kiku stabbed through him in base, sure he stalemated the most embarassing Yonko of the time for 3 days, sure he had to run from Shanks and add him in his top 5, sure he is the only top tier with 7 known defeats, sure he is a midgame villain and every single midgame villain that Luffy defeats has gotten powercliffed.

But at the end of the day, he is the WSC, the strongest living being and was capable of beating guys like Raizo, Kawamatsu, Ashura Doji, etc. by himself. That's the craziest feat I've ever heard of.
