bug problem, need honest advice

Dealing with a bunch of creepy crawlers and need a permanent solution so they don't multiply. I'm in the St Louis area. I’m just super anxious because I got ripped off by a sketchy company in the past. Has anyone used a good company before? Do they do a good job?

got replaced but they said my job was “gone”

lost my job about 3 weeks ago, they said budget cuts, position eliminated, whole speech. i didn’t argue much at the time, just took the small payout and left. but yesterday a friend sent me a screenshot, same company hiring for basically my role again. almost identical description. i was there almost 2 years, no write ups, nothing. also had reported something internally a few months back, now it’s kinda bugging me.

should i just move on or does anyone here know decent lawyers in socal who handle wrongful termination or situations like this?

Budgeting for life after the split is a massive wake-up call

We split back in October, but we've been nesting in the same house for the kids' sake. It’s been an absolute nightmare.

I was looking over my projected budget for when I finally move out into a rental. Between child support, joint debt from 11 years of marriage, and everyday inflation, my disposable income is getting cut by about 60%. I went from not worrying about grocery bills to realizing I have to cut every subscription just to keep my head above water.

I’m using Mahoney Richmond Thurston to make sure I don't get completely cleaned out on the house equity side, but the day-to-day survival numbers still look brutal.

How did you guys adjust to the massive downshift in your lifestyle right after? Did you take on side gigs, or just accept that the next couple of years are going to be a financial grind?

Basically title. Business is doing okay, but I feel like I’m leaving money on the table because my personal finances and the business books are a mess.

so my brother's anniversary is coming up and i'm stuck. dude literally buys whatever he wants the second he thinks about it. headphones? bought. watch? already has three. experiences? books his own trips.

i tried the sentimental route last year - photo album, handwritten letter. he smiled and said thanks but i swear it's still in the bag somewhere.

what do you get someone who doesn't need or want anything? budget isn't even the issue anymore, i just want something he'll open and not forget about in an hour. anyone figure this out?

UPDATE:

ok so someone mentioned luxury flowers or snack boxes - not stuff people usually buy themselves. ended up trying BloomingBox and he texted me a pic of them on his desk which never happens. also looked at a whiskey subscription thing but shipping was stupid. anyway thanks for the suggestions
