I (19M) have kept getting crushes since I returned to college, but I've finally found someone who might legitamately like me back. She asks me stuff back (mostly in real life), she seems happy to see me, and we get along well. She checked to see if my number worked, and she has the most beautiful singing voice (which she seemed flattered by when i complimented it). Oh, and I'm probably overthinking this, but she was playing "part of your world" on the piano... yknow, the song a girl sang because of a boy in the Little Mermaid. Coincidence? I think- probably. Who knows?

Sure she isn't the greatest texter, despite saying she's "just chilling" today, but she's also autistic and openly has difficulty socialising so it's likely difficult, and nobody's amazing right off the bat. Nobody is ever that great at texting in my experience, including me sometimes, particularly with crushes lol. I hate texting anyway, it feels so inorganic compared to real life, where we just bounce off each other so nicely. Thats why I wanna confess in person, as my last gf confessed over text and it didnt feel as exciting, to me personally. I wanna take a step up and ask her irl at some point.

However, I am nervous to ask her out for a couple reasons

1. We've only started getting to know each other recently, so if I ask her out early, she could see it as too early. I used to think you needed to get to know someone first, but other people say "ask her out soon", but then others say "familiarity helps build connection" and IDK WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE lmao, I guess my deadline is the end of this week
2. I'm afraid she won't wanna be friends with me if I ask her out, though I guess it's easier if you havent known each other for months
3. there is a chance i am misinterpreting everything. I thought a girl liked me last month, but she turned out to like girls herself. She never found out I liked her. At least we're still best friends though 😄

I needed to vent about this, I've done stuff to try focusing on myself like writing a story and going on a walk, because I'm not seeing her until monday. I figured staring into space while listening to the BoJack horseman theme and thinking about her wasnt very productive. But I am a nervous WRECK texting her, and overthinking literally everything. If I ask her too many questions, I feel like I will feel like I'm interrogating her! I just wanna get into a car and drive all the way to London and back, and I would do, if I didnt have to pay for fuel. 😞

question, are there any good small talk questions i could ask her on text until i see her on monday?

I'm a dog walker for Rover, and am considering replacing my iPhone with a Cat s22. Problem is, I'm not sure how well Rover works on that phone, and considering I'll need it on walks/to accept clients as soon as possible, that's an issue. Could someone download the app and tell me if it's functional please? Or if you already have it, does it work ok?

I don't need it to be super practical as I could do most of it on my computer, I just need it to be usable on the go.
