We’re presenting a group show of Gallery Particulier artists: My Land, My Village, My Heart. with opening/afterparty at 5-7PM with drinks and bites. The artists will be present.

281 Maple St (Rogers & Nostrand)

My Land, My Village, My Heart brings together artists whose work explores place, memory, belonging, and the landscapes, real and imagined, that shape us. The group exhibition introduces Indigenous Canadian artist Sarah Gibeault, whose delicate Sea Villages evokes fragile coastal worlds suspended between land and water. She is joined by Noah Bassman, Wennie Huang, Ronen Gamil, and Yoshiko Mukai Williamson, who makes her debut with Gallery Particulier. Together, their very different approaches create a conversation about home, community, nature, migration, and the places we carry with us.

This is a Palestinian landscape featuring plants that are part of traditional Palestinian cooking. Israel has prohibited picking them under the pretext of protecting them.

It can be seen - and hosted! - at our opening tonight from 5-7PM at Gallery Particulier 281 Maple St (Rogers & Nostrand), artists present, socializing encouraged. FREE.

We'll have an afterparty/opening of our show My Land, My Village, My Heart from 5-7PM 281 Maple St with artists, drinks and bites.

The title of our show is so right for our neighborhood!

Artmageddon is an art walk where people volunteer their space, whether it's a stoop, a business or other, to exhibit the work of an artist.

It started 8 years ago in Midwood, and is now spreading through central Brooklyn.

We will be participating with a show opening that day, including an indigenous Canadian artist, Sarah Gibeault, a Japanese textile artist Yoshiko Mukai, a Mexican American artist, Lupe Cariño, a Yemeni artist Ronen Gamil, a Chinese American artist Wennie Huang, a Queens based queer artist and urbanist Noah Bassman!

Artmageddon is rescheduled because of a storm coming our way! Many hosts show the artists' work on their stoop/porch and a lot of rain could be damaging to the art. The walk, and therefore our opening, is rescheduled for October 4, same hours.

We hung the show yesterday, it looks really beautiful, we're excited to show it to the world, and then to have the canvas prints go into people's homes eventually! 

In November, we will hold a free raffle: the winners will host one piece for six months in their home.
