Who plays through their Mac/PC rather than using an amp?

I've not got an amp, I'm using a combination of a Valeton GP-200 and Tones 3000 on my mac. For now I mainly play with headphones but ultimately I want to get a set of nice studio monitors that will connect the mac.

Who else runs this sort of setup?

Things to check when buying a preowned guitar

Hi all, I bought a silver sky se preowned and it looked good only to later find out the frets had lifted and were all uneven. I was so bummed. It wasn’t that noticeable when I tested it.

So I’m looking at a fender telecaster pro delux tomorrow and I wanted to ask for help with a checklist of things I should look out to make sure it’s good.

Need help with strumming - My Hero by the Foo Fighters

This is such a great song both on the electric and acoustic.

I've watched some tuts and I've spent a lot of time watching Dave play it live both on the acoustic and the electric.

I'm trying to get the verse right, it goes from an E power chord on the second fret to a C# harmonic on the third, the chords arnt the hard part, its getting the strum to sound like the song.

To me it feels like - Down, Down Up on the E and then that repeated around 4 times on the C# but with a continuous DOWN UP strum. (please excuse my crud guitar speak, not sure what the best way is to write it).

When Dave plays, just before leaving the E it sounds like he hits the high E string, it rings nicely, he does something similar on the C# chord but I cant quite get it.

I've attached some live performance vids.

Who has not taken their gravel bikes off road yet?

I've had my Factor LS out onto the dirt yet. I've done a bunch of kms but still not on the dirt. I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyone else still not had the change to ride a proper gravel road yet?
