Spent a long time building a desktop app that tracks your achievements, play time and way more for Steam/Epic/GOG/Xbox, EA, Ubisoft, itch + retro library __ Need Feedback
I wanted to make a pc gaming app for windows to give me motivation to actually finish my games and compete my libraries against other people on leaderboards
So I built GameSave (Windows, .NET/WPF). What it does today:
It's free and in open beta. Being honest about the rough edges: it's Windows-only for now, the UI's still getting polished, and the first scan on a big library can take a minute.
A few years ago, I had a real problem motivating myself to finish the games I owned, so I made a "completed games" spreadsheet — every time I beat a game I got to add it to the list, and it genuinely helped. But manually googling each game's info and grabbing its thumbnail was tedious. GameSave is a massive evolution of that spreadsheet: it tracks every game you play and complete, and your entire PC gaming history lives on a “History” page.
Honestly, I want it to become a must-have companion app for PC gaming, I want it to motivate people to finish their games. Ambitious, I know. I just added a Speedrunning page, and Streaming page too. Any feedback — or suggestions for what to build next — is hugely appreciated. Brutal is welcome.
