Again - Noah Cyrus ft XXXtentacion

When XXXTentacion starts with that “oooouuuu,” I swear I go to a different dimension. X was an extremely talented musician. If he had lived a little longer, I genuinely think he could’ve been a top 5 artist ever, IMO.

I’m from Turkey (if you check Spotify, Istanbul is one of the cities where his listeners are from), and we love sad music.

X was this Black dude making incredibly emotional, sad songs, but he could also rap his ass off. I don’t know, man… this guy was the GOAT. I really wish he had lived longer. That’s it.

Chose the wrong partner wrong career and wrong country

Hi,
This isn’t an exciting post. I just wanted to write this somewhere. I’m 31, sitting here wondering what I did to end up this unhappy with my life.
Looking back, it feels like every major decision I made was the wrong one.
I chose the wrong wife (I don’t love her), the wrong career (I hate it), and the wrong country to immigrate to (long, cold winters with no other option).
I feel like I failed at this whole adult life thing. I don’t see a point in continuing. Just getting older. What a life .

30M Canadian looking to move to Australia. What are my options? Do I have a chance?

Hey everyone,

I’m a 30M Canadian looking into moving to Australia, mainly because I absolutely hate winter and want to live somewhere with a warmer climate. I been to Perth before and I absolutely loved it.

A bit about me:

30M, (single and I don’t plan on having kids)

2-year associate degree(marketing) from a community college in the US
Not much professional experience

Most of my work experience is in service/fast food jobs

I have around $12,000 CAD in savings

I’m willing to do pretty much any job if it gives me a realistic pathway to stay
I’m not set on Sydney or Melbourne . I’d be happy living in other cities or smaller places.

I know my education and work experience aren’t exactly impressive, so I’m wondering how realistic this actually is.

Thank you for your time 🇨🇦🇦🇺

Imagine Ranked Pro

I played League of Legends for years and recently switched to FC 26 Pro Clubs. Honestly, the different builds, positions, and playstyles remind me a lot of League, and I love it.

The only thing is I’m more of a solo player. I don’t really enjoy committing to one club or having to rely on the same group, so I mostly play Drop-Ins.

I actually think a proper ranked Drop-In mode would be amazing. Imagine climbing as a CDM, RB, or CB with random teammates every game and being ranked based on how well you play your position.

Anyone else prefer that, or is it just my League mindset?

[Iwantout] 29M Canada -> Sun

Hello everyone,

I’m a 29M writing this from British Columbia, Canada. It’s currently 16°C (61°F), gloomy, and raining.

I was born in a coastal city where it’s sunny and warm almost year-round. I grew up loving the sun, the beach, palm trees, watermelon, basically anything that felt like summer. I even got a palm tree tattoo. Back home, weather like this would have been considered one of the coldest, rarest days of the year.
Growing up, I never imagined becoming an immigrant.

Sure, I watched American movies and TV shows and thought they looked cool, but that was about it.
The reason we left had nothing to do with me. My dad became very outspoken against the government and eventually they wanted to arrest him. In a third-world country, things don’t always stop with one person. They hated him enough that my younger brother and I could have been jailed too, even though we had nothing to do with it.

Thankfully, my dad escaped before they arrested him, and we ended up in Florida because he had an old friend there.

Honestly, Florida felt like an upgrade. I loved the beaches, the weather, and the atmosphere. It reminded me of home.

But after only three months, my dad decided to move us to Canada because he didn’t like where USA was heading and wanted to claim asylum there. After everything we’d been through because of politics, I couldn’t understand why politics still controlled our lives.

A Canadian lawyer who was a family friend helped us with everything. He didn’t charge us and even let us stay in one of his apartments rent free for more than a year. We claimed asylum and eventually renounced our original citizenship, so going back home was no longer an option.
We arrived in Toronto during the summer and I liked it.

Then winter came.
I’d never experienced anything like it. It wasn’t just the cold. It was the darkness, the grey skies, and spending months indoors. It felt like the world had lost its colour.
I started isolating myself and blamed my dad for bringing us here. I even stopped connecting with people from my home country because I felt ashamed that I could never go back.

I really tried to make Canada work. Over the years I lived in Ontario, Quebec, and now British Columbia because I kept thinking maybe another province would feel different. I tried winter sports, went to hockey games, and genuinely gave winter a chance. But after eight years, I still feel exactly the same.

To be clear, I have nothing against Canada or Canadians. Canadians have been incredibly kind to me, and I’m grateful for everything this country has given me. This is simply about the climate and how it affects me.

Eventually, I saw a doctor and therapist and was diagnosed with seasonal depression. They recommended a light therapy lamp and vitamin D. Hearing that honestly made me even more depressed. I remember thinking, “So this is my life now? I need an artificial sun just to get through the winter?”

Last week, after eight years, I finally became a Canadian citizen.
I spent so many years waiting to become a citizen so I could finally make my own decisions. Now I’m almost 30 with no real career, no specialized skills, and a lot of regret about the time I lost.

I never imagined that someone who used to be outgoing and surrounded by friends could become this lonely.
More than anything, I just want to live somewhere warm and sunny. I honestly believe I’d rather live in a less wealthy country with sunshine than stay somewhere that makes me feel emotionally drained for half the year. The only problem is that I don’t speak another language, my home country language is only useful there. I don’t know what my options are. I really need some advice here.

Thank you

Would you quit gaming if you were a famous streamer?

hey everyone, i’ve been gaming for as long as i can remember, and i’ve been trying to cut back or quit because i feel like i can’t really moderate it.

my girlfriend sees it differently though. she says gaming is something i’m passionate about and that instead of quitting, i should try to do something with it, like streaming, competing, or finding some way to turn it into a career . and that kind of stuck with me.

the problem is, i don’t see gaming as a healthy passion anymore, i see it as an addiction that’s holding me back. when i tell her that, she says i shouldn’t quit. i also wonder if part of it is that she works from home, doesn’t have much of a social life, and maybe likes having me around at home gaming instead of going out and changing things. am i overthinking that, or could that actually be part of it?
