Keeping thermal prints?

I've taken a huge number of photos during my summer holiday and want to frame them.

What's the best way to preserve them so they last?

They'll be hung in a stairway, not in direct sunlight.

Thanks

Very early morning travel

Staying out towards Hammarbhojden and need to catch the 0430 bus to the airport from central.

I don't believe the trains are running, it's a taxi the only option?

TIA

Friction knot suggestion

I need a friction knot for amsteel rope, both primary and secondary ropes are amsteel.

This is to attach a handle to the primary rope for a suspension trainer.

One handle remains fixed, the other slides along the primary rope to alter the distance from the pulley. .

Photo of the finished trainer attached

TIA

World's lightest suspension trainer?

Only kidding, but with holidays coming, i need to keep exercising and have very limited space and weight.

So.... coming in under 400g, amsteel cord with some spare handles and bits i had, it works! I could reduce weight further by removing the pulley, but i enjoy suspension training with one.

Anyone done something similar?

New rucksack

Got a different rucksack , more padding and a waist band - big difference to comfort levels.

To progress, can i just keep adding more weight as i don't feel i can walk faster workout breaking into a jog?

How much cash to carry?

I'm visiting Stockholm for a few days on the summer. I'll have 2 different credit cards with me but wonder how much cash to carry? I'll be doing the usual touristy bits, as well as plenty of coffee shops... looking for advice? TIA

Gongs@

My last post, i promise

2 old gas canisters being thrown away

The first i made into (a loud) gong, and stencilled on a Chinese symbol for Peace.

The second, i may still carry on working on this to turn on to a ladybird

Beer carriers

It amazes me what people throw away

Perfectly usable bike handlebars and pallet wood (favourite building material) turned into a beer carrier.

I've made a few of these of different designs and colours

Scrap robot

I make loads of things which are useful. This project was just for fun

Old headlight, table lamps, gas canister, stabilisers and hey presto, a completely pointless robot!

Fire extinguisher wind chime

I've made a few wind chimes over the part few years. This one was an old fire extinguisher. I'm quite happy with how this turned out

Cutlery animals

A friend's nan died and clearing out her house he had no idea what to do with her Cutlery. Being one to never see something thrown away, and seeing these in local sculpture parks, i thought I'd try to make one. One eventually became 25 (i think), which are now hidden all around my garden. Except one going back to my friend who provided the spark.

And then, a few dragonflies followed

Bare metal finish?

Has anyone stripped your bike paint right back to the bare metal and then sealed it?

My cheap build isn't pretty and i wonder about a bare metal look?

Any hints or tips?

1st ruck ever

Thought I'd join the scene

Used an old rucksack with a homemade 23kg sand bag inside it

Worked OK but need to sort padding out

VERY budget build

£10 for the 1980s racing bike.

Removed the rear derailleur, front brake and then a new chain, seat, bar tape, brake cable, 2 new wheels (replaced the 27in with 700c to make future changes easier). Happy with the end result for £80 all-in.

At some point I'll replace the rear cassette with a single speed cassette but for now, this works.

Keychain camera pics

A few pics of things I've made at home with my teeny keychain camera, modified with a fisheye lens
