Guys, just a heads-up — there are a lot of scammers targeting people these days, especially those working in IT.

They’re running this kind of modern chain marketing scam. Usually, it starts with someone you already know calling you and saying they got laid off. Then they’ll tell you they joined some “business” and are now making great money.

At first, they don’t ask you to invest anything. Instead, they build trust. They might ask for referrals, like saying their friend needs a job in your company, share resumes, and keep following up a couple of times — just to seem genuine.

Slowly, they’ll invite you to attend a “business meeting.” That’s when they start convincing you that it’s a fast-growing opportunity. At the same time, they’ll be posting motivational stuff on Instagram, showing off expensive things like iPhones or luxury watches — even if they don’t actually own them — just to create an image of success.

Eventually, they push you to invest around 4–6 lakhs. If you don’t have the money, they’ll even help arrange loans. That’s where things go really bad — people end up losing their hard-earned money.

I even know a case where someone scammed their own best friend. These people can be very persistent and convincing, and they sometimes make the whole setup look like a real recruitment process, so you don’t realize what’s happening until it’s too late.

I have seen many ppl who are working in IT have fell for it and regretting for real.

So please be careful. Investing such a big amount in these kinds of schemes is no joke. Stay alert and don’t fall for it.
