I love New Jersey but I think you all overrate it immensely.

No state that premises itself on proximity to cities in other states is the best state in the country. Also post pandemic the food here leaves a lot to be desired.

Exclusive | Most affordable city in New York has homes for $87K — but no one wants to live there

Where is that guy who posted on this sub claiming Utica wouldn’t benefit from high speed rail and the city is on the “up and up”?

Why do you think so few people on this sub know what a circle jerk sub is?

Genuinely curious. I’ve never seen this level of not understanding it so seeking input from the rest of the sub.

Does anyone know when the church pivoted from “the Book of Mormon is historically accurate” to “we know it’s true because it makes us feel good?”

I know previous presidents like hinckley said that either it was all true or all a fraud, but now it seems like they just rely on feelings because the historicity isn’t there.

Anyone at the Mormon history conference? I can’t believe Christine Blythe is with Christopher Blythe.

I just feel like she can do better 🤷‍♂️

Ras baraka, the man who has made fighting racism a hallmark of his career, allowed one of the most racist state police forces in the country to attack peaceful protestors at Delaney Hall.

By instituting a bogus curfew he allowed the state police to have pretext to brutalize people. Fuck him and the entire city government how allowing this to happen

I’ve tried it a few times now so feel confident saying it’s…fine? It’s gotten a decent amount of recognition since it opened so maybe my expectations were too high, but I thought it was average. Just me?
