Unceremoniously quitting after 5 years

I’ve worked at the same dispatch for 5 years now. I was one of their top drivers. I ran, turned it into exercise and had fun with it. I was consistent, worked 5 days for overtime, organized the company fantasy football league (at my home) and genuinely considered many of them friends.

The last quarter or so we’ve had a new dispatch. Who is absolutely awful. She is late daily, freaks out on drivers and as a result people stopped showing up for her shifts. This resulted in my routes becoming unmanageable. But because I was good I was told “I could handle it”. But eventually enough was enough and I reached out to my head dispatch about concerns; and got no response. Nothing. On a particularly nasty route late in the evening (10 hours into my shift) I ran a stop sign on a residential street. I came back to a write up with a 2 week suspension. Enough was enough. I quit. Within a day I had found a new dispatch around the corner and onboarding should be faster than my suspension.

But what shocked me was how indifferent they were. All I wanted was to be treated like everyone else instead of the company mule. They couldn’t even dignify me with a response when I quit. Fuck this place. Don’t ever forget no matter who you are in this job, that you are just a number, and that you are absolutely replaceable; true or not.

Did the Chicago back up group also get taken down?

Getting similar results of group not found when I searched the link someone provided and got the same results as when I searched the main Chicago group. Can anyone confirm?

These women are disgusting. They just posted a picture of my autistic son and a fake selfie at the gym I go to.

My fb profile is me and my 7 year old son that they posted. I’ve never taken a selfie at the gym so I know it’s fake but it is at the gym I go to. These women are so creepy

I’m not taking you out to an expensive dinner for our first date

I’ve never met you before. I have no idea if you even look like your pictures. I for the life of me don’t understand why anyone would only agree to do a dinner first date with someone they have never met before. What if you can’t stand the person? Is a few bites of meat worth that kind of experience?

It doesn’t happen often but I met another woman online who was objectively attractive. We agreed on a date and time and I suggested a few places to meet for drinks by her home and then she mentioned that she doesn’t drink (profile says she does) I recommended a few other ideas like stand up comedy and then silence. I don’t mind taking a woman I’m interested in out to a nice dinner. But I’ve met enough people that I’m either immediately not interested in or don’t look at all like take profile to know that I don’t want to do that for a first meeting. What’s the point of this?
