Unpopular Opinion: The Tornado Crossover was a failed stunt

I have to say the Tornado YR Crossover while it brought some eyeballs to BTG it was a special effects stunt without substance of story. The production was good but it missed the mark on the aftermath of it how it shook the cast up or made any big strides storyline related. I would much rather see long term storyline that has big reveals and big climaxes. People rave its BTG emmy episode but I watched GH on Thursday snd it had everything in the action and drama department. I feel while it boosted ratings for 1 week it was kind of a failed stunt. Anyone else agree ?

Elizabeth Korte Appreciation Thread

I will say Thursdays episode of GH was one of the most thrilling exciting episodes i have seen in years. Just amazing exciting and building such a huge climax. Monday through Wednesday were amazing as well. One of the best weeks of GH I have seen the March episodes when Marco was stabbed. Really want to give Elizabeth Korte her flowers. She has been at GH since 1994 in diffeent positions but she has really risen to the occasion as hesd writer. Some people have complaints but she gave us our money's worth in a huge umbrella story. Chris Van Etten her co hesd writer is better with her then his previous wrirer. Korte is doing what other soaps arent which is building a long term story and giving us an amazing climax. Its not 2 to 4 weeks not built up with no climax. GH is sweeping 2027 emmys. Props to Elizabeth Korte shes giving us soap I havent seen the Guza days.

Gina Tognoni should have been Heather.

I am sorry but I feel Ashley Jones is a bit miscast in this villainess role. She lacks the grit to play Hesther. Gina Tognoni who played Dinah on GL and Phyllis on YR would have been perfect in this role. She has 3 enmys and would have killed this role. Could anyone have seen Gina in the role?

Megan Michaels Wolfrick names the Idol that had biggest IT factor

Megan Michaels Wolfrick said in a podcast the person that had the biggest IT factor was Phillip Phillips. She said everything about him was total IT factor and said she knew he would win the season. He just had the entire package right away. She said Home was such an amazing song that her dad who produced the Olympics wanted to use it. Are u all surprised she named Phillip as having the biggest IT factor

Megan Michaels Wolfrick should be FIRED

Megan Michaels Wolfrick should be canned after this season of Idol. Its crazy shes been there since season 2 of FOX era. Shes destroyed the show with terrible formatting like doing away with actual Hollywood week, a chemistry free judges panel who doesnt criticize, the dumb social media voting aspect, a weak cast and so many other things she fumbled on . Say what u want about Nigel Lythgoe but that man EPed some of the best seasons of Idol and know how to produce a show. Plus we only had 16 episodes this season down from the 19. During FOX days it was 24 to 42. Anyone agree Idol needs a new showrunner?

Who's the better singer Hannah Harper or Haley Reinhart?

If u all had to choose whos the better singer Hannah Harper or Haley Reinhart? Hannah is a good singer but I felt she was manipulated to win this show as she had a big following. Haley was so iconic for Idol as her performance of the House of the Rising sun was in idol fame. My vote is for Haley Reinhart hands down

Noel Maxam is saving this show. Anyone agree Noel rocks as EP?

Since Noel Maxam has been exec producer the show feels soapy snd excitibg again. After Ron was fired and the new wtirers had 6 more months of his outlines to deal with its been a terrible transition. Janet Druker was the worst EP in its history. She had zero vision and show was a mess. Since Noel came which we are now feeling the effects the show has cliffhangers and moving well. Plus the production looks better. I love Connor Floyd as Chad. Anyone notice a big difference since Noel took over as EP? Cwikly and Fords stuff has been better. Sometimes all it takes is a good EP
