How does one get on orders or get ADOS or get stationed at DLI?

With the changes to Starlink, and for those at CADJ or CLDJ, how do you reccomend approaching personal internet/wifi/use of personal phone when located in the base? Are any of the “new and improved bandwidth” prices and promises of the NEX connect plan at CLDJ worth it?

For those who have been stationed in Djibouti, Africa at CLDJ, what Starlink package best works there? I’ve been hearing to buy the Starlink mini and the global roaming plan, but wanted to know if there has been any Updates.I saw that there was an old post here and just wanted to see if there’s any updated information since 2 to 3 years ago.

This is my first appointment. For packing a C Bag, or the extra duffel that is most likely being transferred by arrives later in country, what type of thing should be focused on packing in here besides what’s on a standard deployment packing list? Does this bag usually arrive late? Especially for folks that have been to Africa before.

For those who have deployed to DJ at Camp 🍋, what are some of the positives of a deployment like this? Best parts of the base? Possible things to do with leave, if any at all? Things you got done or wish you got don that you would reccomend to others? Lessons learned?
