I’m a big fan of magic research and have some ideas to try to make something similar.
I’m not sure how to get started though. What program or coding is used to make games like that?
AI disclosure: I did not use AI to ask you guys where to start on making games… because that’s a thing we apparently have to say.
I’m curious as to how well someone who has literally never touched EverQuest would enjoy the game. Is it enjoyable for someone who has zero nostalgia? Personally I love a good mob grind, and it sounds like this game does it, but wondering if it would be overwhelming for a non-EQ veteran. Especially since there’s no trial or demo.
Other than the two big boys (WoW/FfXIV), what MMOs think has the best/most rewarding/fun endgame? Something more than just the continuous RNG roll for slightly better gear.
I played a lot of Wow and some FFXIV, but have never touched FFXI. The people who talk about it seem to think it’s the best thing ever.
I’ve literally never seen it, so again my question: Is it viable/worth it to play completely fresh?
I’m looking to get back into a 2D semi-simple mmo. I was a big fan of NexusTk for a while, but it’s pointless to get into now. I know there’s a couple private servers but I’ve seen them shut down in the past so no point investing in those.
Any recommendations?
