First time at LCS this year

I use to go every day at lunch time - silver being on sale again I went in for a look. I took my mom and she got me a few little things for a bday present. First picture is the copper coin and little silver bar I got and the rest are some cool trays I saw. See if you see anything I should go back for. Besides the obvious answer of yes go back for everything lol — unfortunately a year ago I would have left with every cool piece I found, things are expensive.

Upgrade from tinywhoop

Looking for an analogue/elrs drone that can carry a GoPro.

I’ve flown DJI since their first drone, recently I am ripping tinywhoops with analogue FPV and an elrs controller. I have sweet goggles, 040 pro, so I am thinking of staying in analogue.

What’s a good option to carry a GoPro and haul ass? I want to do car follows.

Update on nylon nut

You’re all ass holes. Spent more time insulting my stupid ass than giving any actual information. All of you swore it was 5/8 and to send it. It was indeed not and now it’s supper stuck lol. It was 16mm x 1.25 - I hate all of you.

What did I break

The nut won’t go further than this. I’m trying to replace the one that tested itself while I was riding.

Coleman 212 Torque converter

This nut flew off while I was riding and I am having the hardest time replacing it. I got this on Amazon - it’ll twist a bit then stop. Is this the wrong thread size? Anyone have a link for this?! Also bought a washer, does it need a washer there?

Mod fist lamp

I have this lamp I got for basically free and I really don’t like the base. The translucent sounds cool
But let’s out so much light it bothers my eyes. Any ideas how to fix it?

I wanted to keep the color but stop the light leak. Or just go to town with a spray can or use the 3d printers to cover it?

It was really dirty when I got it and I didn’t know what ones don’t so I dumped the water and added distilled water. I used bubble wand soap to coat the glass, I got it floating wel at one point but maybe added too much of that bubble solution as I was testing how much flow I could get with it.

Ideas very welcome. Maybe tint the water so it’s not as bright?

Worth the pick up?

Guy said take it for 15 - worth the pick up?

I have one other lamp - I don’t want to start hoarding these things but I do love em lol

Where do I go next?

I was laid off a year ago and haven’t been able to solidify a new job.

I was working as an audio book producer/engineer for the past 10 years and was suddenly laid off of the company I was working full time for. that studio and most of my connections in that industry are all back in NYC, I was working remote for that company from Colorado.

I Don’t know what to do next. I’ve had great interviews for great positions and I can’t land anything.

I have since started a very small but profitable 3D printing business. ive also improved my drone skills but haven’t tested for part 107 to fly for work.

I’m 35 years old and this really put a stall on my plans. I have no idea what my next move should be. Should I go back to NYC to look for work? Start a studio out here? Get deeper into drones maybe work for someone?

I don’t know. I’m so frustrated b

Turkey sign?

I went looking for turkey in a new spot and this is what I found: I think thats turkey scat and turkey feather?

So I was calling around where I found that, didnt hear any gobbles back, but, a big bird seemed to flap its wings in three hard bursts after Id call. Was that another turkey? I thought it was below me so I circled around the area I thought it was in, when I called below it did the same thing, I'd call and it would flap but not move.

What was that?

4yo male - should I get him nutured

Ive had Red since he was a puppy - hes 4 now, hes a beautiful red long haired that was imported from Germany I think it was. Anyway, hes a brute. Hes had a ton of training, he knows what you're asking, but 25% of the time he doesn't care. I havent been able to get him to leave the cat alone no matter what Ive done, he blacks out.

His dad and mom had a ton of behavior certifications. Red rather do anything else than learn another trick. Again, its not that he doesnt know - he almost knows TOO much.

Anyway, I dont think hes a dog that needs to be bred, but I wanted to know pros and cons to getting him fixed or not. The breeder said she wouldnt when we got him.

Any one else have a stubborn male like this? Hes a working dog, what jobs do you give them to better channel that energy? He lives with a black lab, he lives a great life, knows recall so he runs free when we go camping and in the woods. He knows, just does it when he wants if you know what I mean.

Busted a prob and went to swap them out for these green ones. When I turned it on I realized it was hitting the side of the prop gaurd. Is the frame bent or are the props to wrong size?

I went to check some public spots in the foot hills this morning. I found turkey while driving around all morning and into the afternoon, I just couldnt find any public land. All of the public I planned to get on was either completely blocked in by private with no way of getting to it or just barren in a spot I dont think a turkey has ever been. Kinda confused on the next move. I know they are in public - is it worth going deeper west like unit 7/8? Theyre all over the foothills, just on private - and I dont want to bother people knocking on their door for a turkey. Any ideas? That was a 3D printed crow call I made, was happy I got them to gobble with it - good to know it works.

Theyre out there, just not where I can get to them.
