Does anyone else’s SIC shed like crazy?

You look at this cat and you think, oh a normal shorthair, WRONG! I have never lived with a cat that sheds as much as she does, and I lived with Persian show cats before. That hairbrush full of hair was from brushing a single, quarter sized spot on her butt that got a bit tangled. If I don’t brush her daily clouds of fur literally fly off her when you pet her.
