When Eagles Dare

The full 5 part documentary is now available on YouTube. It’s a fantastic watch as a Palace fan, interviews with some of the greats from the promotion team and a good insight to what went on behind the scenes that year. Highly recommend it for old and new fans alike, and it is compulsory viewing for those younger fans who might not be aware of where we were as a club 15 years ago.

[Romain Molina] The inflammatory statements made by Kevin Lamour, FIFA’s director of operations, were prompted by the fact that he knows that FIFA’s general secretary, Mattias Grafstrom, has distanced himself from Infantino and is plotting a coup.

> Infantino’s (very) close circle had warned him months ago, also pointing out the close ties between Grafstrom and Gelson Fernandes, and that they were “waiting for the right moment to undermine him”

> Paranoia is at its peak, as are the political intrigues: Infantino has lost control of FIFA and will soon lose his job
