Permanent Field Supervisor, duties prior to 2030?Location of openings ?

I’ve read available info from press releases and Bureau website, but I’m baffled about where they would be hiring and what this role would do between now and 2030.The announcement says “Location negotiable after selection”, but your home is the duty station, and it seems the the 2026 surveys were in S.C and a few other small areas and have concluded. What would a permanent Field Sup be doing between now and 2030? Will there be other surveys in large metro areas before then? I am in suburban Cook County, Illinois. TY, in advance for any info! I am a new grad and managed all aspects of surveys as part of a research project.

Anyone know how a few years of PT employment impact FERS benefits?

So I was allowed to go down to 30 hours per week for approximately 2 years when my kid was little. I now have 23 years total calendar years and thinking about when to go. Does this mean my pension will be calculated using less than my total calendar years, subtracting the hours less than 40? Our HR is inaccessible and useless for these questions.

My kid is turning 26 in 3 months. Where do we begin to look? Live in Illinois:

She has been on dad’s BCBS. Is unemployed and job seeking.Lives with me. Considering buying her a plan, but have a feeling it will cover only catastrophic care after insane deductible.
Is there any hope?

The 17 plus i phone i bought from Visible arrived but it’s too small.

I’m used to the 14 plus size. Would like a 17 pro max instead. What can I do? It’s out of the box but never transferred the sim. Can I return?

IRS website says I’m not eligible for a payment plan, but I owe for 2025 and interest is accumulating!

Should I just attempt to make payments on the website without a plan? I made a partial payment when I filed and that payment does show on the website. Sorry so ignorant. I have never before owed a substantial amount I could not pay at filling.
