First time Kuhli loach owner what to feed?

İ heard theyre omnivores so I put sinking wafers that have %40 protein in it and I feed the tank bug bites so whatever food that makes its way down will get eaten probably right? İ didn’t see them eating personally and I’m not sure I’m doing a good job honestly. Should I put the wafers in different locations after the lights are out since I heard theyre nocturnal?

Lampeye killifish fry

İ Lost most of my adult lampeyes to columnaris a month ago I was on vacation so when I came back soon after they died very quickly. Luckily I had some eggs so these fry are 1.5months old today and I hope they grow nicely. İ feed them mostly crushed bug bites and other dry fry foods, decapsulated artemia and I try to hatch artemia as well. When they were newborns I fed them microworms mostly.

Shrimp grazing on me

They do This whenever I have to put my hands in the tank so I wanted to film it. Btw I made sure there were no oil, soap residue left on my hands before putting my hands in the tank.

Got my first plakat betta

I kept betta’s before but after my last betta rose died 6 months ago I was Finally ready to get another one so I got this Beautiful plakat galaxy coi male betta and named him prince the tank is 15g and has been running for months and prince is the only fish here for now. He was surprisingly lenient with the shrimp and even though he got close to inspect I didn’t see him try to eat one.

Can I keep a thick lipped gourami in a 15gallon?

So I have a 15g and I want a centerpiece fish so first I thought honey gourami but they only sell the dwarf gourami or the thick lipped gourami. My water parameters GH20,KH15,ph8 I’ve had this tank for 6 months now so can I keep a thick lipped gourami in my tank?

Finally got an API test kit

So I Finally managed to get my hands on one of these (they don’t sell them in my country so I had my realtive bring it from usa) I wanted to test my water because I knew it was hard but not how hard.
So I think my
pH is 8,
my KH is 15 and
my GH is 23!!!
Which is crazy ,now I kept chilli rasboras in these water parameters for a year and they are really red active and healthy. But I also got spotted blue eyes and unfortunately 8 of the original 10 passed away gradually in 5 months and now I have 2 but I actually got eggs and fry from them in this periyot. After that I tried getting lampeye killifish and they were fine for 2 months and they developed a bacterial infection and I unfortunately Lost 2 but otherwise very healthy eating well and active little fish I recently got eggs from them too and I’m raising the fry they have been growing nicely for a week now. My question is what should I do like I’m not sure if I’m slowly killing my fish in this very hard water or if them breeding and eating means they are ok with my water and I should value stability over chasing parameters. Ps: I really didn’t Know my water was this hard before getting the fish and I didn’t mean to put fish that werent suitable for my water I’ve been in this hobby for a year and these are my first tanks so please be kind

Norman’s lampeye fry

İ had 10 lampeye eggs and didn’t expect them to hatch so soon 2 of the eggs hatched in 11-12 days feeding green water vinegar eels and microworms for now. Theyre bigger than I thought I hatched spotted blue eyes before and they were eyelash sized. These are like 2-3 week old dwarf rainbowfish sized I think.

İs this columnaris?

İ noticed these white patches on my lampeyes about 3 now out of the 10 I’ve had them for two months now and the only thing that changes is the water’s temprature (from 25 to 26C now) I do %20 water changes once a week and this is 15g İ bought kanaplex and focus to bind the medicine to pellets because I have snails and shrimp. They’re eating and swimming normally and even laying eggs. Ai says it’s nothing Google says it might be columnaris. What should I do?

Advice for a shrimp population control

So I have a shrimp breeding tank than I have a low grade shrimp tank and I don’t want them breeding too much it’s 15 gallons and 65cm long
So I was thinking
Platinium halfbeaks or Peacock gudgeon or lyretail killifish as my options as shrimp control I already have 10 lampeye killifish so I don’t want to overstock this tank.

So I have 5 chilli and 1 phoenix rasbora and lots of cherry shrimp in a 10 gallon.
I want to try getting some clown killifish either 1 male+2 females or 2 males+4 females I also want to get a Scarlet Badis in the future so will it be overstocked? İ have lots of plants and a sponge filter but I’m afraid of getting more fish than the tank can handle.

So I have 10 lampeye killifish(and got the lampeyes recently so theyre not fully grown) and 2 spotted blue eyes in my 15 gallon I originally had 10 spotted blue eyes 4 months ago but they slowly passed away in the span of 4 months I fed them baby brine shrimp crushed pellets vinegar eels and the water was stable with weekly %20 water changes if there is anything to note is that I have pH around 7-8 and hard water (like Marks on the lid kind of hard) and I read that they could live in soft to moderately hard water but I don’t really Know how hard my water is. So ı’m guessing they died because my water was too hard and I don’t usually count my fish while feeding cause theyre fast so I didn’t notice at first but I saw one be a bit bloated and have difficulty swimming and didn’t see her again(probably the shrimps work) so I noticed less and less of them why else could they have died? I’m not really sure what to do with the remaining 2.
