As a long time fan, interested to hear what it is that people think set Billy Talent apart from everyone else.

I am a LONG time fan, like since red flag was played repeatedly on Kerrang back in the day, I still listen to them every day in the car and I have never outgrown them. Something about their distinct vocal style and their guitar tone just keeps me running back every time. They're also incredibly talented lyricists, such clever word play and cover a range of topics.

What does everyone else think ?

Have a song stuck in my head, please help, possibly post hardcore.

I think it starts quite soft and melodic like "you are bleeding, you are beautiful" and might be mistaken but I think he also says no matter what they say and the ful at the end of beautiful is sung louder and higher.

If it helps, bands I listen to who it might be. Saosin, Underoath, old Emarosa...

Soft spoken, male singer, confident it's at the start of the song.

I've attached a vocaroo cus this is consuming my morning, mo matter what they say might not be in the verse but something is sung along a similar key

[PS1] [Early 2000's] [2D Robot Fighter]

So my friend had this really low budget 2d fighter back in the day, I can't find anything about it online. It had similar graphics to early Mortal Kombat games, like semi photo realistic, every fighter was a robot, think one resembled a sort of scorpion, that's important to note, none of them were humanoid in appearance, kinda animal like, very basic move set, once you completed arcade for one of the characters, you'd get a 3d rendered end game cutscene.

Background of each stage was very sci fi, industrial sort of, honestly can't think of anything else about it.

Want to find it purely out of nostalgia. It wasn't even a very good game but I'm sure someone knows it.

S02 E04 Corvette drag race, obvious stuntmen 🤣

On my third rewatch and my god, if you want a laugh, skip to the scene where Lucas and Dan race Felix in the Corvette. They couldn't of picked more hilarious looking stunt doubles. Wish I could just post the image here but not permitted.

Home testing kits, legitimate and should you ?

So bit of back story, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's when she was just 59, she's now 64 and in a carehome. Her deterioration has been rapid and can no longer hold meaningful conversation with her.

I don't know if this is just a UK thing but from what I've heard, you can buy testing kits, saliva based, send them away to a lab to see if you also hold the Alzheimer's gene.

My question is, are these legit and should you or would you purchase one ? I would want to know to put things in place for my family as I have kids of my own, I have 2 older brothers and they very much seem to want to live their lives without knowing but I must know.

I have no one else to ask this and don't know anyone else in this situation as I am so young myself (31) and would want to know if I could also potentially be diagnosed in the next 30 years.

Edit: I have heard back from my sister in law and we were offered blood testing for the gene back when she was tested through NHS (our healthcare system) free of charge so I'll most likely do that.
