Working adults, how often do you cook at home?
In this modern world, where most households have two working adults, how often do you cook and eat your own food from scratch?
When my husband and I first began to work "proper jobs" we tried to keep up cooking pretty good meals at home, like we did through uni and student-type jobs. Stews, pizzas, bakes, wraps, tacos, falafels, sushi... all was homemade and we loved doing it. We used to love cooking, and eating.
It's now been 3 years working office jobs, and these days I pat myself in the back for making a toast. We have a variety of ready-to eat curries at home, and frankly my husband lives almost entirely on that. I fear we'll even forget how to cook. We also have a smaller kitchen, so I hesitate to blame it entirely on our jobs. What has been your experience?
