Been thinking about CFP. Quick question, if you work for a large broker dealer, there are instances where not every etf is available on your platform but it might be on Schwab? So how does one act as a fiduciary if your firm only allows you to buy the mutual fund, but won’t let buy the similar etf? Or just in general, it’s pay to play so if something isn’t available on your firms platform, how are you acting in the best interest?

Bought a house in November. Need new windows as ours are 29 years old, wood, warped, can’t open/close half of them. Have paralysis by analysis with window replacement. We have 25 windows and a couple doors.

- Renewal by Anderson quoted us for 100k

We are open to any and all options from a totally different company to buying windows and using a contractor.

Our house has EFIS stucco around more than half the windows being replaced as well as having very big and unique window shapes.

Any suggestions/experience with the above companies or advice on what we should do is welcomed.
