what’s your preferred body hair removal method — waxing, shaving, laser etc? 👀

I’m curious what works best for everyone because there are SO many methods and everyone swears by something different 😭

•	Do you prefer waxing, shaving, epilator, hair removal creams, laser etc?

•	What made you stick to that method?

Also facial hair removal!!

What do you do for upper lip/sideburns/chin hair?

Threading? Face razor? Wax? Laser? Dermaplaning?

Which skincare and haircare product/routine/procedure gave you the most dramatic transformation?✨

Let me go first:

Skincare-Focusing on barrier repair rather than using actives(Laneige cream skin toner,Laneige cica mask)

Ofcourse,sunscreen(BOJ)

Haircare-Oiling my hair and scalp 20 mins before shampooing (kama ayurveda bringadi oil)

Airdrying>>Blowdrying for my hair..

Also, focusing more on nutrition and keeping stress level in check.Sleep plays a major role too, learnt that the hard way!!

I thought toxicity was normal until I experienced healthy relationships.

Growing up is realising peace is more important than having a big circle.

In college, I was part of a “friend group” that constantly put me down. Back then, I thought it was normal. I laughed along when they made jokes at my expense, tolerated disrespect, and slowly developed such a huge inferiority complex without even realising it. I was basically the sidekick friend.

Only after college, when I met people who treated me kindly and spoke to me with respect, I realised how much I was missing out on all those years. Healthy friendships feel so different. You don’t have to shrink yourself to fit in.And when i met my husband, everything took a huge turn.He loves me and treats me with so much care and respect that sometimes my inferiority complex creeps in to say i dont deserve him.

Same with family too. I stopped talking to my narcissistic father a month ago, and the peace I feel now is unbelievable. No more waking up scared about what hurtful comment or judgement will come next. No more emotional walking on eggshells.

Now my circle is small — me, my baby, my husband, my mom, and a few genuinely good friends. And honestly? I love this life so much more.

At 27, growing up gave me the strength to finally set boundaries and choose peace over chaos. Quality over quantity, always.

What was your first “oh wow, pretty privilege is REAL” moment as a woman?

Have you ever experienced one or witnessed someone else experience pretty privilege among friendships, workplace, family situations etc?

One and Done moms, what are your reasons?

I am 4.5 months pp,very exhausted mentally and physically..even with my mom for help its so hard..

I love my baby more than anything, but the sleep deprivation, constant worrying, feeding issues, no time for myself, mental load… everything together feels so overwhelming some days.

Part of me thinks, “I can never do this again.”

Then another part of me wonders if this is just the hard baby phase talking.

Moms who felt this way postpartum — did it pass?

Did you stay one and done or change your mind later?

No judgment either way, just want honest experiences and reassurance from other moms ❤️

Whats an expensive purchase you keep repurchasing even though it hurts your wallet 🫠💰?

You know those products where every time you click “buy again” you stare at the price for 2 minutes… but still purchase because nothing else hits the same? 😭

I’m trying to find my fellow “cry while paying but still loyal” people here 😂

Mine are:

•	Beauty of Joseon sunscreen(Purely for the glow it gives ✨)

•	Forest Essentials shikakai shampoo

•	Miss Dior perfume(blooming bouquet)

What’s yours? Skincare, makeup, perfumes, haircare, gadgets, food — anything counts. I need to know what products have everyone financially trapped 😂

New moms, please be kind to yourself!

Becoming a mom already changes our body, hormones, sleep, routine… literally everything. And somewhere in between cluster feeding, contact naps, literally surviving on 3 hours sleep, we are also expected to “bounce back” quickly.

I just want to say this to every new mom here:

slow weight loss after baby is completely okay.

You do not have to punish yourself with extreme diets or feel guilty for indulging in your comfort snacks sometimes. Motherhood is exhausting. Food is also comfort, joy and survival some days.

Your worth is definitely not decided by how fast you lose pregnancy weight.

Some of us lose weight fast, some very slowly, some only after weaning. Every body is different after pregnancy.

Please don’t be harsh with yourself while raising an entire human. Your body did something incredible.♥️

The obsession Indians have with fair skin is actually exhausting!

I recently became noticeably lighter/even-toned because I’ve mostly been indoors lately, avoided sun exposure, and followed a proper skincare routine. The number of people suddenly asking me ‘HOW did you become fair?’ is honestly shocking 😭

Even my mother is always fixated on it. And all conversations are about it.Has anyone else experienced this? Why are we still so obsessed with skin colour in India?”

My mom does not eat deep fried food and i commented on it saying thats a healthy habit do continue..she replied ‘whats the use though i look dull..u are the one who looks bright and healthy inspite of eating everything ‘

When did being healthy become equivalent to how fair u are🫠🫠🫠
