I moved into a house in New England. I believe the tree is some sort of pear tree. What’s going on under neath it? It looks like there’s a lot going on

I recently bought a house that has 1/4 acre. I bought a greenworks electric mower that said it would work for 1/4, but was quickly disappointed. It has taken a full day, 5 battery charges to do the yard. I’m wondering what people’s recommendations are for an electric mower for 1/2 acre to 1 acre. I’m rounding up so I don’t waste money again.

I’m looking at the EGO 800 series, 21inch and Greenworks 80Volt 25inch. I’m weary of Greenworks because I’ve now read a lot of negative reviews of their products.

Please let me know any recs!

Thanks!

I’m a first-time homeowner and don’t know much about home improvement. I’d really appreciate some advice. My house doesn’t have gutters, and I’m wondering if that’s contributing to moisture damage in the wood trim and causing the paint to peel. There’s also a lot of mildew on the exterior. I’m trying to figure out the right order of projects. Should I install gutters first before repairing the wood and repainting? Or do I need to fix the damaged wood before gutters can be installed? I want to avoid repairing and repainting if the underlying moisture issue isn’t addressed first. Also, would a general contractor handle all of this (gutters, wood repair, repainting), or would I need to hire separate people?

For the past year I’ve been getting an itchy spot by my eyebrow in the exact same spot when I go for long walks. The weather doesn’t matter. I don’t wear hats. I have no idea what it is. Someone suggested it might be a hive? Is this something that anyone else has experienced? I don’t have any known allergies

For the past year or so every time I go for a walk outside (no matter the weather) I get a bump in the SAME spot by my eyebrow. It eventually goes away. I don’t wear hats. What is it?
