Dreame matrix 10 nightmare after switching from Roborock..is this normal?

Title:
Six months ago I upgraded from a Roborock Curve, hoping for better cleaning. Instead I’ve been stuck troubleshooting nonstop. I maintain my robot pretty well and cleaned the sensors wash boards and played around with the settings as well making sure nothing is blocking my vinyl floors. It’s a 1300 ft.² room that I m trying to automate cleaning for every night using the clean genius setting. I have a few area rugs, but besides that it’s a very basic and open space with no blocking toys or anything. My Roborock curve did fine in this area and didn’t take as long to clean as it did.

The issues, in order:
Corrupted maps — robot refuses to leave its starting room. House is cleaned nightly, floors are clear, robot is maintained on schedule. Nothing physical is blocking it. I have deleted and re-created Maps 3 or four times now in the last few months since I got it.

Additionally, it would leave crumbs and take nine hours to clean overnight on the clean genius setting.

“Fixed” it with a firmware update — support pushed an upgrade, which solved nothing and introduced new problems:

Adnormal water in the washboard/mop plate constantly. I cleaned the water base a few times but it keeps happening.

Support experience: Every ticket gets the same shallow response from the technical team after reviewing the logs ..they check one night’s logs, declare the mop “working fine,” and suggest blocked sensors or a dirty filter. Both already ruled out. No deeper diagnostic, no escalation.

Where I’m at: Paid a premium price expecting a step up from Roborock and got a less reliable robot with more manual babysitting.

Wondering if:
Others with this model hit the same mop/rug/water issues

Anyone got Dreame to actually escalate past tier-1 support

This is a hardware defect worth pushing for a replacement/refund instead

Would rather not go back to manually vacuuming rugs every time it face-plants at the threshold. Any advice appreciated.

And when did with these issues would have been done?

Dreame matrix 10 content issues after switching from Roborock… anyone else?

Upgraded from a Roborock Curve six months ago expecting better cleaning. Instead I’ve basically become part time tech support for this thing.

Backstory
Maps kept corrupting and the robot refused to leave its starting room. House gets cleaned every night, robot’s maintained on schedule, nothing was blocking it. Contacted Dreame and they had me update the firmware last week.

What the firmware update actually did
It “fixed” the map issue (not sure yet as it was recent) but opened up a new set of problems:

Excessive water in the washboard

Constant “clean the filter” popups even though it’s clean

Mop pad falls off every time it crosses a rug threshold

Still finds crumbs left behind most mornings, even after a full cycle

Support experience
Every time I reach out they glance at one night’s logs, tell me the mop is working fine, and suggest something’s blocking a sensor or the filter needs cleaning. Already ruled all of that out multiple times. No real digging, no escalation, just the same script every time. This is from the advanced technical team, who apparently reviewed the logs.

Where I’m stuck
After paying this much I expected less babysitting, not more.

Questions for the sub:
Has anyone dealt with this exact combo of issues?

Did a factory reset and manual remap actually fix it, or does it just come back?

Anyone found a way to get past tier one support to someone who actually investigates? What do you recommend I do??

At this point I’m debating whether to keep fighting for a real fix or just push for a replacement or refund. Would rather not go back to hand vacuuming every rug edge myself.

Best stroller wagon for two 3 year olds that’s easy to push and not a pain to load into the car?

Looking for stroller wagon recommendations for my 3.5 and 3 year old.

We currently use a lightweight stroller (Uppababy Minu Duo), so I’m hoping to find a wagon that still feels fairly easy to push and maneuver. Main use would be long walks, parks, zoo trips, and hopefully some winter use too.

My biggest priorities:

  • Easy/light to push with two bigger toddlers
  • Not insanely heavy or bulky to get in/out of the car
  • Easy to buckle/secure the kids.. my younger one doesn’t always want to stay seated
  • Something we can realistically use for another few years

Budget is around $400–500, and I’m open to used or open-box.

I borrowed a Radio Flyer Stroll ’N Wagon once for a trip and had a terrible experience. It was the pull-only version, and pulling two kids around was exhausting. We ended up barely using it, so I definitely want something that pushes more like a stroller.

I’ve been looking at the Evenflo Pivot Xplore, but I’m seeing mixed reviews once kids get heavier. Not sure about the Graco options either. WonderFold seems nice, but I keep reading that it’s very heavy and annoying to load into the car.

For parents who switched from a lightweight stroller to a wagon with older toddlers/preschoolers: what actually worked well for you?

Best stroller wagon for two 3 year olds that’s actually easy to push and load into a car?

We currently use a lightweight stroller (Uppababy Minu Duo), so I’m hoping for something that still feels relatively easy to push and maneuver rather than dragging around a huge heavy wagon.

Main use would be:

  • Long walks
  • Parks + zoo trips
  • Some winter use
  • Easy to fold/load into the car
  • Easy to buckle the kids in, especially my younger one who doesn’t always want to stay seated and is hard to buckle in cars and strollers.
  • Ideally something we can use for another few years

Budget is around $400–500 max, but I’m totally open to open box or used.

I borrowed a Radio Flyer Stroll ’N Wagon for a trip before and hated it. It was the pull-only version and pulling two kids around was exhausting. We basically stopped using it halfway through the trip. So ease of pushing is probably my biggest concern.

I’ve looked at the Evenflo Pivot Xplore, but I keep seeing mixed reviews once the kids get heavier. Not sure about the Graco wagons either. WonderFold looks great, but the weight and getting it in/out of the car sounds like a pain.

Anyone who moved from a lightweight stroller to a wagon have recommendations? Especially with two bigger toddlers/preschoolers?
