There have been a few over the years. Winning penalties v Tranmere and Inter. SJM (v Forest), Duran (Bayern) more recently. A Watkins hatrick v Liverpool that no one got to see in person.

What are your most memorable?

They are obviously good to get to the final. I see they are 7th in the Bundesliga with no chance of catching 6th place (required for Conf league qualification).

I don't follow German football, so what are they like? Any standout players? Typical playing style etc etc.

Whilst watching the London marathon yesterday, it got me thinking. Obviously the distance is odd/quirky. So if we were to sit down and redesign the standard long distance race, how long would it be?

Would it be a bit shorter, a bit longer...or is it perfect as it is?
