Agent O: I think it's safe to say they won't be making it to my wedding.

Out of curtosity, I sent my DNA to the lab people at NSS; turns out my DNA matches with one of the NSS's most wanted crime families, simply referring to themselves as "The Family."

Further investigation suggests the leaders are my parents, their direct reports...my siblings. I recognized my parents from the photos...and confirmed they lost a daughter that would be approximately my age by now.

I'm going to track them down myself. I recognize it's dangerous, especially with TREE most likely having my family in their sights; even the Captain insisted I reconsider.

But I don't want to scare them. We have a lead and I don't want it to go bad because they ran.

Agent O: so now that the Salmonling thing is over, we went ahead and booked our wedding date.

we can't wait, so we booked the earliest date we could!

Date, place, and time will be on the invites.

Hiro: At approximately 07:00 this morning, several foot soldiers for the Splatlands Bandits presented to the NSS Alterna base's main gate, surrendering to the on-duty guards while wearing replicated Hypno-Glasses allegedly deceptively given to them by TREE leader Koroshi-ya, who allegedly tookj responsibility for hypnotizing the soldiers into doing the murder, stating he "was only cleaning up the NSS's mess." Preliminary NSS forensic analysis suggests the soldiers surrounded the leaders, with an unknown four of them killing the leaders with a standard-issue weapon.

In tangentially-related news, the NSS has broken its all-time record for "number of arrests in a year," attributed in large part to an influx of alleged criminals voluntarily surrendering themselves to the NSS. When asked why they surrendered voluntarily, all those who answered cited a fear of assassination being their sole or primary reason.

*Here we see our master TREE assassin Koroshi-Ya, logging into the Captain's computer, having somehow replicated the Captain's fingerprint and hacked the Captain's 2-factor authentication, unaware of the Captain's well-hidden office camera*

*Now in, he proceeds to browse the computer for the latest dossiers on the NSS's most wanted list - at least, the ones he hasn't managed to kill yet. He downloads each one to a drive of his own*

*he leaves, wiping any trace of his activites from the computer on his way out*

Agent O: so looks like the NSS is returning my focus to Octarians - sanitized, fuzzy, etc. This includes Octolings from the underground, but it also means I most likely won't be involved in any more Dealer...shenanigans. Actually, he gets his own Task Force within other NSS units that I'm not involved with.

If it comes out he's using Octarians, then my unit and I will be involved.

OCTSTRATTAU is being renamed to reflect a more general Octarian focus. We're still workshopping the name, though.

Oh yes, and I got my salary doubled permanently, "in recognition of your bravery, leadership, and heroism during the Great Dealer Incident [what the NSS officially calls the major event of these past few days]"

sometimes when you go near a wasp, like the one in my bedroom, they act like you are trying to PvP them. why?

???: Subject “Agent O” submitted a portion of her ink for further research into the Saldenica-I virus.

Subject is a non-sanitized Octoling and former Octarian, having surfaced an unknown time prior to the Great Octarian Migration. Subject‘s clinical history includes autism, ADHD; subject denies having any known physical disorders but notes their brother did have a congenital aortic root dilation.

50 mL of subjects ink was deposited into a vial containing 500 mcg of Saldenica-I virus and kept at room temperature for 24 hours. Subject’s ink so far appears to have been unaffected. I will continue to monitor the ink.

As all known infected patients experienced symptoms within this same time frame, my first preliminary hypothesis is that Subject is immune to the virus.

Second, I note that most or all patients infected with Saldenica-I have heretofore been Inklings; my findings in this log therefore suggest Octolings are more likely than Inklings to enjoy immunity to Saldenica-I; however, further research into this would be needed to conclusively establish this.

As previously stated, I will continue to monitor Subject’s ink for any effects of the virus.

agent O: I managed to come up with the prototype for something i call the Superconcentrated, energy emitting annihilator - SEEN for short.

it is a handheld device that, as far as I can tell, can destroy any object, given the right settings. people, buildings, planets even.

it is 99.99% energy efficient, with a mass akin to an Octo Shot.

Senators like Chuchi would often have ”their” own security details provided by their home governments. were these details loyal to the Senator, to the home world, or to the Empire?

Man, that Valerie is a real…bully. it’s like she’s gunning to be Evie’s best friend. Today, she dunked me in the toilet no less than 3 times; pretty sure that’s a school record.

Aced my math test, though. Mr. E said with my grades I should aim for engineering as A career.

agent O: so…if my recent conversation with Static is any indication, he’s a bit too…afraid of my work uniform to have a long-term relationship with me at this time. maybe in the future, but for now it doesn’t look that way.

that being said, I am interested in a long-term relationship with someone, though I can’t just look anywhere because Im autistic and looking for other autistic Inkfish so as to minimize any relationship difficulties between us.

where can I find an Inkfish I would date who would date me? I’m open to all genders, species, and sanitization statuses.

I’m babysitting my niece this weekend and would like to do some Splatfest battles with her.

is there an age requirement and if so, what is it?

agent O: I was at the eye doctor because i was having some vision problems, specifically. some floaters that recently developed. We discussed my prior background with the Octarians and they said it would explain my vision problems. I think they said it’s because of some of the goggles. how they are basically screens strapped to the head.

im getting a corrective surgery done next week. wish me luck!

Tonight the Octarian 10 case wrapped itself up.

The remaining Octolings found me at my summertime hotel. Of course, the vigilant agent I am, I raised my Octo Shot and...at my command, they dropped theirs, kicked htem all over to me. I placed them all under arrest and ordered them to remain where they stood while I contacted local law enforcement. It was a good 7 minutes before the police showed up, during which those Octolings never moved a muscle.

I wasn't about to end my break just to haul them in, so I had the cops take them to the city jail, where they will wait for the NSS to transfer them back to Alterna.

Curious at this surprising development, I asked one of them why they surrendered, and why they felt it necessary to hunt me down and surrender to me instead of, say, going to the police station.

In short, with their commander and most of the members in custody, they felt the unit had no hope going forward. They knew I was lead detective on the case and wanted me to personally witness the arrest, just so I would know they weren't at large.

I asked if anyone who was not with the NSS or law enforcement told them to surrender, and the member denied this.

O: I was at the hotel bar drinking when I saw just so many Octolings who were either sanitized or wearing Octarian soldier uniforms.

i felt bad for them, so I paid for everyone’s drinks and they all erupted in cheers At my announcement. I even befriended some of those ex-soldiers.
