In ROTJ, Sidious seems to be under the impression that if Luke could be turned to the Dark Side by his hatred for Sidious, then Luke would suddenly be a big Sidious fan and not just try to hone his Dark Side abilities and then use them to kill Sidious.
for background, I have an as-yet unknown comnective tissue disorder. (We actually ran a bunch of generic tests, including for Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz, and Ehlers-DanLos. None came back positive)
dealing With that as an Autistic ADHDer is hellish for me. I have to get labs done, schedule specialist appointments and CT scans and yadda yadda. And especially now, I’m needing a valve sparing aortic root replacement procedure, meaning that on top of all that I now have certain preparations to make, and then there’s the post operative recovery which will involve a week in the hospital including up to two days in the ICU, potentially hooked up to a bunch of chest tubes, followed by 6 weeks of regularly scheduled cardiac rehabilitation to recover, not to mention the other stuff that will come with having my sternum cut open.
My saving grace is that the hospital specifically asks about autism spectrum disorder and will try to accommodate requests along those lines.
but man, I have to spend an hour or two recovering from doing any medical stuff.
