What is the material of these parts of the sunsteala wheelas?
Plastic? Right? Haha.
The parts coming off the back of the cart, do you interpret these as like a metal or bone, and do you paint them to match the suns or...?

I couldn't think of any funny name word play for this candy boy. No way thats not made for schloorpin'.
Collecting nurglings, plaguebearers, and beasts of nurgle for my dg tallyband summoners list has me thinking about getting more into chaos daemons. Now the idea of running 6 full bricks of nurglings IS something I would enjoy at least for one game, but is it a handy cap with this army to stick to one chaos god's units? I know there are the detachments that go with each god, but is it strictly a casual move to limit yourself and not take a little of everything? And if you do mix and match, what should I look at first to go with the grandfather's lil guys other than a great unclean one?
Just gotta do the bases on these gits, but im having so much fun on the snarlpack huntaz spearhead.
Ended up with 14 nurglings and 14 sprites.
Kits included: foul blightspawn, plaguebearers, plague marine champion, treelord, belthanos, and of course, Mortarion.
Im getting maggotkin like plague bearers, nurglings, and guo cuz i play deathguard, but i also have and love these blight kings and a lord of blights. I dont necessarily want to buy the entire range, and I do wanna get more things I can use as chaos daemons and in tallyband summoners in dg for 40k, but what else should I look at? What goes well with blightkings in aos? I dont need a meta list or anything, and im not super versed in terms of what types of list do what (alpha strike, castle, etc I dont fully understand the difference in styles yet,) i just dont want to be building too many lists within the same army.
Just gotta finish the fly nurglings and the tactical rock, and then do an interference wash, but this labor of love is basically ready to be viewed and hopefully enjoyed. 🫡😇🙏
I have a treelord spirit of durthufhchxgdb(however thats spelled.) And belthanos models, but im not 100% on how list building works in AOS. I know kurnoth hunters is a good addition, and that ill need awakened wildwood, but what does a 2000 point "oops all(or the most i can optimally have,) tree lords," list look like? Pointing out the regiments and structural differences between a 40k list would also be fuckin radical. Thanks for helping a sapling sprout in advance.
Totally worth how long I struggled with that beetle for this. Just because the nurgling carrying the tank in the morty kit isnt as obviously cute as the wizard or the lil fire orb one doesn't mean he doesn't deserve your RESPECT! LOVE HIM!
Wip, today is my birthday and ive been treating myself to painting Mortarion for my Candy/girly Deathguard/maggotkin. I only have a few warhammer friends and ive already overwhelmed them w progress shots, ill try not to over do it here too lol. I added some critters from a treelord kit cuz they just kinda work for me here.
Working on mortarion, having a blast.
Sloppity bilepiper is one of my favorite models, I thought he deserved more than one nurgling.
‘If I may be so bold as to offer you one piece of advice, Ku’Gath, it is that you are too limited in your thinking. You are obsessed with plague when the universe offers so many more paths to entropy. You forget that there is more than one form of corruption.'
My army is candy colored because tooth decay is probably the most delicious form of entropy. My nurglings are separate rn to be painted.
Cuz I will never be him. Who up sloppitying they bilepipe?
Stomp stomp. im just excited.
New to 11th edition and 40k, but Salamanders are clearly the best chapter.
How is my list? Librarian is going to have fusillade, and jump captain has immolation.
I know the captain could be not the best use of those 80 points, but his mohawk is sick as hell.
I have some friends at work who are into it, one of them is also new to 40k, but is very competitive, he and I play magic, so I know how he approaches games, and he has said hes interested in tournaments down the line. My other friend is experienced in previous editions, but is very "rule of cool," he does have an absurdly large tau army, but I truly dont believe he is sweaty or meta oriented.
Id like to be somewhere in between these ideological approaches, so any suggestions to optimize my list, that I could choose to ignore depending on how competitive the opponent is, would be sick😎
Vulkan lives.
edit: what cuts get us a land raider? the only rule of cool thing i definitely want is the jump captain and vanguard vets. But also less characters, but more librarians? thank you all
I am new to warhammer painting, and salamanders are my first army, rapidly approaching 2000 points. I haven't read any books yet, but I wanna name this guy something cool and try and paint it on the lil white banner on his shin. Google says there arent any named salamander Ballistus dreads, and I dont mind something made up, but id like it to sound appropriate. Any suggestions on names or like what language salamanders names are based off of?
