Typical HRSWMF where vices collide.

I recently bought a Scar (20s) and have learned (the hard way) that most/all AR15 grips don’t fit. After ordering a grip from PMM (BCM), I’m still not convinced it’s the right grip for me. But, I feel like this one from Ed Sherman suits me well.

Question is… has anyone successfully used a 3/8 end mill in a drill press to deepen the pocket on their grip? I know it won’t be pretty, but I think I could build a jig that would hold the grip steady enough.

I’m also certainly open to other ideas of the best way to allow an AR15 grip to fit. I played around with a file and got a junk-drawer grip to fit. But, the file destroyed the rear upper wall of the grip for obvious reasons.

Things to note:
The top tube and down tube don’t touch
The brake poles are on top of the seat stays
The Top tube rearward sticker is further forward than most pics I’ve seen

There’s two reasons why we want to identify it… one, we are simply curious. Two, we wanna make sure we can get the correct brakes.

43 years old (300lb, 6’3) and looking to get back into it casually (hit the park with my kid, teach him, ramp some corner boxes (cement).

I bought my kid a Kink Curb (20 inch wheels) with the idea that we could share it and I felt super cramped riding it. Cranks felt short. Knees felt like they were going to explode. Feel like I am leaning too far over the front of the bike.

Question is:
- would a 24 inch ruin the experience? Should I go with 22? (I feel super comfortable on a 29 inch mountain bike kind of pumping through the skate park). I do not feel comfortable on a 20 inch.

Just picked up a 5821 Cubitus and am pondering grabbing a rubber strap for a pop of color for summer.

(The mint green would need to be a RIT dye job on a white strap).
